As you can see in the title of the work, "cactus" means cactus.
The lively cactus, which seems to start dancing now, was created from melted glass.

Yuri Iwamoto was born in Saitama Prefecture in 1993. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Industrial Design in 2018. Graduated from Toyama Institute of Glass Art and Design in 2021.

It's a vase.
The melted glass moves like a creature of will. We are making a shape so that we can keep that intention there as much as possible.
The completed piece creates a unique "floragi" in the space.
The "floragi" is energy, and I think that it will be possible to cheer up and snuggle up with people who live together.
I make such a living partner with glass.
