Yui Takahashi | Mie Takahashi
Mai Takahashi was born in Hokkaido in 1994. After graduating from Yokohama University of Fine Arts in 2017, he is currently based in Kamakura City. Inspired by the graffiti that he draws casually every day, he creates paintings and three-dimensional works. The works that are colorful in an abstract form are based on terracotta and resin. It is painted on top of it with an original paint and finished with a gradation. Major exhibitions include "Mariko Sajiki and Migoro Takahashi Two People Exhibition" (hpgrp GALLERY TOKYO, Tokyo, 2019), "Floating Forms" (ANAGRA, Tokyo, 2019), and "Unknown Shape" (KYOTO ART HOSTEL kumagusuku, Kyoto, 2020).
