The 22SS season was inspired by Le Havre, a Gulf city in northwestern France. The inspiration for the "JUNYA WATANABE MAN" 22SS collection was the scenery of a trip taken by photographer Jamie Hawkeswort visiting Bhutan. We combined items such as salel pants, straw hats, and sandals with T-shirts printed with works of Asian tastes from various artists, including Keiichi Tanaami. This season, many collaboration items with "THE NORTH FACE", "Levi's" and "New Balance" will also appear. From February 4, 2022 (Friday), Shibuya PARCO will launch a full lineup of new works at the same time.

"Ground Y" proposes new possibilities for fashion in a genderless and ageless style. In the 22SS season, with the theme of "Beyond Boundaries", a passage from literary novels such as Ango Sakaguchi, Soseki Natsume, Dazai Osamu, and Ougai Mori were incorporated into original borders and graphics. Actors Mai Fukagawa and Masora Takasugi were used as models of the nostalgic key visuals. In addition, from January 21, 2022 (Friday), when new items are lined up in the shop, a collection book featuring them will be presented on a first-come, first-served basis.
