"COMME des GARÇONS" large multi-store will open on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Shibuya PARCO. The 2nd floor is a collection line of "COMME des GARCHONS HOMME PLUS", a wide range of men's lines such as "COMME des GARCHONS SHIRT" and "COMME des GARCHONS HOMME DEUX" as well as a large men's shop that also develops the unisex line "BLACK COMME des GARCHONS". On the 3rd floor, we will have women's items such as "COMME des GARÇONS", "JUNYA WATANABE" and "noir kei ninomiya" as a women's composite store.
On both the 2nd and 3rd floors, Rei Kawakubo is in charge of overall direction and interior design. The space created as a new challenge in a city where Generation Z gathers Shibuya, is a museum-like mood with industrial tin columns lined up.

When you step into the store, the collection pieces of "COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS" will be displayed like art, and when you go backward, you will see the world of "BLACK COMME des GARÇONS" unified with monochrome color palettes. The dot pattern display next to it is lined with t-shirts of "PLAY COMME des GARÇONS" whose icon is now familiar with the heart mark and collaboration sneakers with the converter.……I am amazed by the multifaceted worldview that the brand COMME des GARÇONS expands. It is a truly spectacular space where you can experience the diverse charms of the brand, the belief, spirit, and the pursuit of the “antibody spirit” and “thing you have never seen” that the brand values.

COMME des GARCHONS HOMME DEUX was launched as a business suit brand in 1987. Since then, it has been changing with the times, and now it is beyond the framework of business suits, and the design and item are really diverse. The setup combines Japanese traditional techniques and original ideas to interpret traditional suits in a modern way. Sewing is performed at one of Japan's leading factories, and it has received high praise from all over the world for its tailoring with meticulous attention to detail. Tatsuya Wakaba wears a suit made of wool suit fabric with a unique color and texture. "I was overwhelmingly able to get to know people through fashion. As I get older and come into contact with different clothes, “Why do you like this dress?” When I pushed up the idea, the people who made it were attractive. The answer to “I like” is in the creator — I think that’s the most attractive thing for me. The clothing I wear today is also a brand that does what I like with people I like. In addition, the people of my favorite brands make Kendama because they are good at their peers (laughs). I think it's cool for adults to play seriously and do it for work.

"I just don't want to do what I don't understand." The word leaked tells the way of life of the expressionist named Tatsuya Wakaba. His rare expressive abilities are attracting attention, such as receiving the 2025 Elan Dole Award for Reliable Expression.
"When I was 16 years old, the director told me in my first movie shot, 'I don't care about the play, so show me the time you've lived,' and I'm still in my heart. I don't want to stick to the play, but I want the feeling that I have lived. I wanted to burn it on the film — and when I heard it, I felt something positive and made sense, 'Yes,' I feel like it’s still in my style. From there, I came to want to take care of my life. I don't think movies and plays are life at all, my daily life, my family and friends.…Actor to save time with someone who is important to you. It's better to work for someone because it suits you. It feels like the director’s words have been driven all the time.”

Mr. Wakaba says he likes to play cameras since he was a teenager. On Instagram, a number of photographs of the scenes he saw on film are spelled out like a diary.
"Recently pull out the film camera I used in the past from my parents' house. So I took a picture and tried to develop it somehow. I was unusually attracted to the color and the texture that could not be reproduced easily with digital today. "I think it's okay." Compared to the past, the price of the film is higher, I don't know if the photo is taken properly, and I can't take it in a dark place.……Or, when it comes to film compared to digital, there are places where I think it's useless. “But now I’m looking forward to spending time and spending time on that waste and confronting each other.”

Mr. Wakaba recently felt “beautiful.” It came the moment when I met something pure.
"The one who worked in an apparel I knew originally came to Tokyo to be an actor. As a result, it didn't work very well, so I decided to work at an acquaintance's shop. When I was shopping there, there was a time when I happened to be two, and I said, "Did the actor give up?" When I asked him, he said in a very strong word, “If you give up, you will lie.” I didn't show it to anyone, but it came to something like that belief that has not disappeared. Did you meet something very pure? I don't tell people, but I touched the "things I believe" that I have firmly in my heart, and I thought it was very beautiful. I don't know if there is such a thing in me, but it may be a part that I can't find myself. Maybe it’s a part that I don’t want to face myself either.
