Good friends, Kiko Mizuhara and Yuka, who are also attracting attention as fashion icons. They went to Shibuya PARCO, a sacred place for fashion and culture, and went to shops that engage in environmentally and human-friendly sustainable initiatives, and thought about enjoying fashion without burdening the natural environment. The POP UP store "OK PLAZA" hosted by them is also full of sustainable hints. We will deliver the voices of sisters along with the shop report.

Limited-time shop "OK PLAZA" will be held.
The project "OK" launched by Kiko Mizuhara will hold a limited-time POP UP store "OK PLAZA" at Shibuya PARCO. The neon lights blink on light blue, yellow, and white pop color tiles, and the futuristic and somewhat nostalgic mood inside the store is fully opened "OK" World. The works created by friends and creators from all over the world who Kiko Mizuhara sympathize with for this POP UP shop were gathered together.
※The POP UP store is currently closed.
The theme is “Earth Friendly Handmade and Art”
"I've learned about the negative aspects of the fashion industry, such as the environment-friendly manufacturing sites, and I can't ignore the problems I said when making clothes. Since I am in the fashion industry, I hope that cooperating with companies and organizations that consider the global environment will trigger attention to environmental issues, so we held "OK PLAZA" . The cardigan she wore on this day was created with Nakano Co., Ltd., a company that recycles textiles. It is a self-confidence work made by putting clothes garbage, which cannot be distributed to used clothes or overseas relief supplies, on a machine and knitting it with a felt thread by hand. "If you look closely, it's cute because the fibers of various colors are mixed. It was an experimental effort because it was a recycled fiber that I had never used in clothes before."

Select items that consider environmental and social contributions
We recommend a bag that dismantles used fleece for children and a patchwork, or a mesh bag dyed with organic cotton. The kitsch items lined up in stores are made from non-chemical materials that have been reborn from disposable items through recycling and reuse, and that have no adverse effects on the environment. The T-shirt uses the body of the PBP Cotton Project, and sales are used to help Indian cotton farmers switch to organic cultivation, and to create scholarships for children to go to school and places to learn in areas without schools.

Develop limited products to up-and-coming artists
"I talked to friends who could share the spirit and creativity of 'OK' and creators who caught my eye on Instagram. We had them specially produce items that are sustainable and express their minds, and sold them exclusively for POP UP," says Kiko. There are a total of 8 creators. Photographer Monica Motegi (@monimogi), Taiwanese artist Ten Yoon Nhan (@han_teng), Happy Van Peyeu (@peiyuuue), and Marland Bacchus (@marlandbackus) from NY, who produced accessories, and Yumasyuri (@peiyuuue) from NY.
Learning environmental issues is life work.
You can learn about dialogues with friends and watch movies, and collect information on your own.
"I made a T-shirt that I couldn't wear during the COVID-19 self-restraint into a tie-dye dyeing. I split it and weave it into a carpet. Yuka-chan made stuffed animals with that cloth," (Kiko). "The moment I noticed the stuffed toy, I felt like life had lived, and I felt very lovely. I was very happy that the stuffed animals were sold out on the first day! I want to continue making cute things more and more in the future." He always exchanges information with his friends, and he does not neglect collecting information on his own. I often watch documentaries that raise questions, and the most memorable work is the movie "The True Cost Fast Fashion Real Costs." "I hope that gradually shift the 'OK' items to earth-friendly ones will be a message to those who pick them up. It's fun to explore a new form of fashion, and I think it's challenging to make something that has less impact on the environment than to make something cool."
Suwon sisters conscious of such sustainable products are going to a store in Shibuya PARCO where they sympathize with manufacturing and initiatives. Report what kind of initiatives and products you found.
