Hapi Kurino a.k.a Hirofumi Kurino
Profile
Born in 1953. I loved music since I was in elementary school and bought the EP for the first time was Astronout’s ‘pipeline’
He then met the Beatles and awakened to the originality of music and style, and later made David Bowie and Bryan Ferry the style icons. I think my English teacher is Bowie and Ferry.
After studying aesthetics at university, he joined the fashion retail industry in 1977.
After gaining experience at several companies, he joined the founding board of the United Arrows (UA) in 1989.
After buying, pressing, directing, etc., he retired from the board in 2008 with CCO (Creative Director) as an advisor. Experienced as a graduate judge at Antwerp Academy, RCA (Royal Academy of England), Polymoda Florence, etc. The LVMH Prize is a judge from the first time to the present. While continuing to be an advisor to UA, he has been involved in numerous projects, and in recent years he has supported the development of the next generation and manufacturing in Japan.

Joined PARCO in 1983 and engaged in advertising campaigns, art, music, film events, and store development. After that, he served as director of PARCO Shibuya to PARCO City Co., Ltd. (currently PARCO Digital Marketing Co., Ltd.) and was in charge of marketing and new business at Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd. Established Long Distance Love LLC in 2018. Supporting company Blanding and new businesses, and producing numerous exhibitions and music events.
