Gota Nishidera Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1973 and raised in Kyoto. Debuted in 1997 as a singer and main songwriter of the band "NONA REEVES" formed when he was at Waseda University.
Since then, he has been involved in many works and artists such as Shonen Corps, SMAP, V6, YUKI, Masayuki Suzuki, Yasuyuki Okamura, and private Ebisu Junior High School as a music producer, songwriting and composer.
He is also known as one of Japan's leading music researchers, and in recent years he has been active in television and radio appearances and serialization of magazines as a folklore of music in the 80s.
On TBS Radio "After 6 Junction 2", he appeared on the program corner "Beyond the Culture" on January 1.
In addition to working on official liner notes such as Michael Jackson and Prince, many books he wrote are bestsellers.
His representative works include novels "Melody Maker of Rumors" (Fusosha) and "Prince Theory" (Shincho Shinsho), and in January 2023, he published the first autobiographical novel "90s Nineties" (Bungei Shunju).
In his solo activity, in March 2023, he released his third solo album, Sunset Rain, covering famous Japanese songs.
