<Okamoto "MOBY" Takuya>
Born in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture in 1976.
Formed in 1995, he is the drummer and manager of the rock band "SCOOBIE DO" with the nickname "Live Champ". He has been active both in Japan and overseas as a drummer and DJ.
Since 2017, he has been active as an MLB commentator and is in charge of commentary on MLB broadcasts and live performances. In April 2022, he published his first book, "Baseball Is Music: Introduction to Major League Baseball Starting with Music" (left and right companies), and won the 2023 Baseball Culture Association Encouragement Award. It is also placed in the American Baseball Hall of Fame Library.
From April 2021, he debuted as an actor on TV Tokyo's "Living, Diing, Father, etc." In March 2024, he appeared as a leading role in a commercial produced by Premier League's prestigious Liverpool FC. Narrated in July 2024 as a Japanese live announcer in the Japan series CM "Someday is now. See you in Tokyo." held in March 2025 produced by Chicago Cubs.
