Discover Japan Lab.| Held a solo exhibition of Tsuchimoto Ceramics. "It gives you a special moment and makes you want to pick it up every day."

"Discover Japan Lab." held a solo exhibition of "Tsuchimoto Ceramics". Tsuchimoto Ceramics Factory is a Manko ware potter based in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture, which produces a lifestyle of living. The concept of the current kiln owner Tetsufumi Yamada and Tomomi Asami is a fusion of traditional techniques and modern sensibilities, "providing a special moment and making you want to pick it up every day." The colors that will appear in this solo exhibition will be antique white, noir (black), and new colors. Mrs. and Mrs. Yamada will be in the gallery for two days, Saturday, September 16 and 17 (Sun). If you touch the personality of the couple, you will be able to deepen your love for your wife. Those with legs such as pichees and pitchers are very popular, so if you are worried, please feel free to do so.

Tsuchimoto Ceramics Factory

Manko ware pottery was founded in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture in 1964. Tetsufumi Yamada and Mayumi make use of the traditional techniques inherited from his grandfather and father's generation, pottery clay, and glaze, making use of the texture of clay that is close to modern life.

OIL by Bijutsu Techo | One-of-a-kind drawstrings created from various vintage fabrics.

At "OIL by Bijutsu Techo", a POP UP of handmade drawstring artist "omeal the kinchaku" will be held at the same time. In addition to drawstrings made by combining vintage fabrics, clothes, rags, etc., collaboration items using original fabrics by artists will be developed. Each one, the drawstrings handmade with great care, are decorated with fringes and strings with different expressions, and look like a unique art piece. There are also items of warm materials and colors, so be sure to go for a walk or picnic in the coming season.

It started in 2016 when I made my favorite fabric found on my travels into a small drawstring. In addition to original items, there are many collaborations with brands and shops. It can be purchased at official online shops and pop-ups all over the country.

The picture book "Harako Aomushi" was created by Eric Carl in 1969. In fact, this work was inspired by the mechanism of a small insect drilling holes in apples and pears and proceeding, and the story was later devised. It was "beautiful people" that felt something in connection with the idea process that created designs from patterns. Thus, the collaboration between the two is realized. A lineup of items that make use of vivid colors and attractive illustrations, including a one-point T-shirt with an embroidery emblem of the main character, Aomushi on the chest. It is a collaboration that allows you to fully enjoy the artist character of Karl called "picture book magician".

Eric Carle

It has created picture books for young children with wonderful illustrations and innovative designs and has been loved for a long time. He has worked on illustrations and stories for more than 70 books and sold more than 170 million copies, including bestsellers. Among them, the best-selling work "Harako Aomushi" has been translated into 70 languages and over 55 million copies. In 2003, he received the Laura Ingars Weirder Award (now renamed the Children's Literature Heritage Award) for his lifelong contribution to children's literature. In 2002, in collaboration with his wife Barbara, he founded the Eric Karl Picture Book Museum and introduced the importance of picture book culture, history, and artistic value. He died in May 2021 at the age of 91 and still has a significant impact on contemporary artists and illustrators.

PAMEO POSE| Collaboration with the anime "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind". Creating unique characters to an edge and romantic design

PAMEO Adventure, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, has announced a collaboration item with the TV anime "Jojo's Bizarre Golden Wind". Of the 26 lineups, noteworthy is an item inspired by Jorno Jovaana, the main character belonging to Pashonne, a gang organization that controls the back of Italy. There are a variety of dresses, bags, necklaces, etc. that incorporate the motif of ladybugs, the symbol of Jorno, into an edgy and romantic design like "PAMEO POSE". A special collaboration suitable for the anniversary year was born.
