Continuing from 2024, Shibuya PARCO will hold a “PRIDE” on the theme of diversity this year. It is an opportunity to expand the world by touching all kinds of personalities and identities, including art, video works, and music from Japan and overseas.
ISSUE
sunfish Key, an artist from Taiwan who will hold a solo exhibition at PARCO MUSEUM, will be invited as a collaborator to reflect the new collection of LOEWE on the "color" hidden in Shibuya.
A documentary movie that approaches his real face, such as the filming site of sunfish Key and the artist's activities in Tokyo, which developed from exploration of queer culture. In addition, we will deliver together with essays that reflect the trends in the modern fashion industry, which strongly reflects social conditions such as identity diversification, environmental issues, gender, and support for artists based on the background of art and culture.

Home KEY Pleasure | Manbo Key Solo EX
A solo exhibition by Taiwan-based artist sunfish Key (Tomanhanami Nami) _ Home Pleasure at World Pleasure
In this exhibition, Tomoko Yabumae (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo) will be the curator, and through photography, video and installations, he will consistently explore personal and social themes such as family, gender, sexuality, and queer identity. In addition to his masterpiece "Father's Videotapes" (Taipei Art Award Grand Prix), unpublished works and unpublished works from "Father's Video Tape_Avoid A Void" (Daishin Art Award), which is an extension of the series, as well as works based on his grandmother who was born and raised in Taiwan during the Japanese rule.
In addition, works taken by Vogue Taiwan and Marie Claire as fashion photographers, as well as works newly taken for this exhibition, will be exhibited for the first time, and Japan's first photo book "HOME PLEASURE" (PARCO Publishing) will be published.

He is an artist who develops works based on "family memories" and "identity" using photographs, videos, music, and various creative expressions. In adolescence, when he accidentally discovered a videotape that his father had treasured, he began an exploration of his own identity and family relationship. The trilogy created based on this—Father’s Videotape, Avoid A Void, and Diverse: Identity—was interwoven with personal memories and stories of the body, gender and family, represented from a unique perspective.
In 2019, he won the Grand Prix of the Taipei Art Prize for "Father's Videotape", and his expressiveness was highly appreciated. Also, in his work "Plastic Ceremony", he sublimates the intersection between ethnic roots as a guest house (hakka) and sexual consciousness into a new ritual form.
In his solo exhibition "HomPleasure" held in 2022, he broadened his interest in topics such as family relationships, transgender issues, and social periphery, and further deepened his relationship with queer culture in Taiwan. In the same year, he co-founded the HomoPleasure Collective to explore the intersection of art and party culture. In 2024, he published works in Denmark, Tokyo and Barcelona, expanding the international forum for dialogue on physical and identity as Asians.
