Homage from Nigo to Kenzo Takada
“KENZO” led by Nigo combines two elements in his own background in the 2023AW collection to create an unknown worldview. One is the British culture represented by The Beatles, as well as the mods style featuring the band The Who, which Nigo is also inclined. The other is Japanese culture such as the technique of "sashiko" which is also used for kendo kimono and kimono. We re-edited them with a homage to Kenzo Takada's collection with "joie de vivre" and used them in new materials such as nylon, denim, knit, jersey, etc.

Sneaker "KENZO-DOME" appears
The brand's philosophy shines on the newly released sneaker "KENZO-DOME". The naming is based on "DOME", a skateboarding spot located on the premises of the Palace of Tokyo in Paris. He reinterpreted the 90s skateboard culture, combining flat outsole with elastic and flexible suede and grain leather materials.
