Akiara Abe is active as a vocalist for the 7-member artist 7ORDER, and as an actor, expanding his field of activities such as the stage and movie. With a versatile face, he visited EYETHINK, a collection of eyewear essential to his style, and Lui's/EX/store, a select shop that is related to his student days. And 3 stores in "Kushikatsu Arata" that don't bother with fried food lovers. With the arrival of full-fledged spring, we explore a shop where “likes” are condensed, and develop a new style of self-style.

Eyewear selected from all over the world gather
Borderless new sense select shop
EYETHINK handles highly sensitive eyewear collected from all over the world under the theme of timeless, ageless, and genderless. In particular, the Shibuya PARCO store is a solid space reminiscent of a studio, and it reflects the inorganic atmosphere that does not feel the boundaries between generations and gender. With a wide selection of products, we have selected 60 brands, from popular high brands to popular domestic brands. The CELINE glasses that Akiara Abe picked up immediately are rare models that can only be purchased in EYETHINK in Japan. "I just bought a CELINE sunglasses the other day, but I don't have these blue eyewear. When I tried it, it was very nice and there was a discovery that the colors were also ants." In March this year, the adjacent eyewear shop "mille (Mille)" opened. It was produced by the creative team of YUICHI TOTAMA., which is highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas, and Shibuya PARCO 3F is on an even more fulfilling floor!

Choose by name, by design
Display that makes you feel love for eyewear
Abe likes glasses and sunglasses, and goes to see eyewear frequently even in private. I recall that the cruise time, where I could meet not only CELINE and MYKITA, which I usually use, but also many brands for the first time, was frankly enjoyable. The most impressive thing was the ease of choice. "I felt love not only when products were divided by brand, but also where they were lined up by kolor and by material. I was told that I didn't want you to choose by name alone, or that I wanted you to find something that I liked properly. Nagatsuma, a member, has been hooked on glasses recently and has been wearing the same round all the time. I think that's good, but I'd like to present glasses in a classic square form to make it new (laughs).

I can't help but feel the strength of "made in Japan"
Private collection inspired by movies
Abe, who has an aspect of movie lovers, is often inspired by his works when choosing eyewear. “I saw the movie Babylon before, and I was worried about the sunglasses that Brad Pitt was wearing. That's one thing. So I ordered the same thing (laughs). I also have an eyewear worn by Robert Downey Jr in Iron Man. If you look at it, there are a lot of Japanese products. After all, I'm proud of Japan's high quality. If you know that, you’ll want to buy more.” Strangely during the cruise, the sunglasses with an impressive orange frame he took care of and picked up, the EYETHINK bespoke model of the famous domestic brand Ayame. “You have nothing to do with it. It was so easy not to feel the weight of it.”

I want to inherit it through the times
Responding to the brand concept
“I like a pretty challenging design, like a teardrop shape or a cat eye.…。 This year, I want to play a change ball. I usually buy things that people around me won't wear them. I like the thin frame. My face is clear, so I'll fight if it's thick. The outline of the face is also clear, so the shape of the square is better. MYKITA likes the light, and often hangs when driving. There are many Date glasses, but I tried sunglasses this time, and I thought it would be good." Eyewear is also important to balance with clothes. He says that the only thing he wears these days is a custom-made trench coat he has gotten. "I like not only clothes, but also "lifetime things" that can be connected to the next generation if I eventually give it to my juniors or have children." His view of fashion across generations resonated with EYETHINK’s concept of “timeless”.
