POP UP

SOUND SHOP balansa pop up store

"SOUND SHOP balansa" is a select shop in Busan, Korea, which handles US vintage items and records. Based on subculture, the attitude of continuing to do what we think is cool is supported, and now it attracts attention not only in Asia but also worldwide. This time, Japan's first pop-up will be held at Shibuya Parco, and as a memorial, a limited collection created in collaboration with <YAGI> led by Reiji Okamoto and others will be released, and in-line products of "SOUND SHOP balansa" will also be available. An opening party will be held on the first night, and vintage remake items will be unveiled at the event.

TANAKA POPUP

"A garment that spins the past 100 years and the next 100 years. Clothes that have been loved for a long time regardless of age or gender. Based on the concept, the collection created by Sayori Tanaka and Akira Kuboshita, is based on the borderless inspiration from New York and the modern-modified Japanese denim creation at the core of the brand. In this pop-up, "RAW WHITE DENIM", which uses raw materials without decoloration or dyeing, appears. Normally, the whiteness of white denim, which is produced through many processes, is usually white, but I would like to pick up a gem that cuts out the innocent beauty of low white, which does not perform such processing at all.

ITONAMI

The denim brand "ITONAMI" was launched by the denim brothers in 2015. In cooperation with denim factories in the Setouchi region, we carry out planning and sales of original products and mobile sales traveling around 47 prefectures. In recent years, we have been working on a project called FUKKOKU, which converts denim collected from individuals into recycled threads by Kurabo Industries, and transforms Shinohara textiles into new denim fabrics. In POP UP, in addition to pre-sale of products collected with haru., a project partner of "FUKKOKU", original sakosh made of dead stock and recycled denim fabric into a special quilt fabric by NAKED QUILT. Collection of unnecessary denims, exhibitions linked to web serialization, and talk events with haru are also held.

haru. (Project Partner)

Born in 1995. While studying at Tokyo University of the Arts, he launched an independent magazine HIGH (er) magazine with artists of the same generation as editor-in-chief. After producing tie-up content with various brands, HUG Co., Ltd. was established in June 2019. As a representative director, he is engaged in the mission of developing content production and artist management businesses and delivering new value.

EVENT

8F Almost Sunday Exhibition "The secrets of Art Shimatsu" Exhibition

Can't you clean up the art? An attempt started from such an idea, an exhibition of the "Art Shimatz" project was held. When artist Yasumasa Morimura looks at flyers and exhibition stands that are discarded after his exhibition is over, he says, "It's wasteful." "Art Shimatsu" started when I felt, "Is it fun to clean up?" This exhibition uses a huge amount of curtains used in Morimura's large-scale solo exhibition to carry bags, hats, books, and manga.…Based on the ideas of various artists, such as "Art Shimatsu" works will be exhibited and sold.

THINK FUTURE NATURE

A one-day special event by JAXA and Parco. You can think and experience small actions that each person can do through flower arrangement and satellite data display.
At the workshop, we welcome flower designer Sadami Aki, to talk about the growth environment of flowers seen on JAXA's Earth Observation Satellite and environmental issues surrounding plants, including flowers, and enjoy a moment of bundling spring flowers. You can enjoy it. In addition, the future daily necessities store "New Stand Tokyo", which has a shop in Roppongi, Tokyo, will open a mini store for one day only. In this event, we will sell a part of the store lineup, focusing on products with environmentally friendly concepts.
