SOUND SHOP balansa pop up store

"SOUND SHOP balansa" is a select shop in Pusan, Korea that handles US vintage items and records. The attitude of continuing to do what they think is cool based on subculture has received support, and now it is attracting attention not only in Asia but also worldwide. This time, Japan's first pop-up was held in Shibuya PARCO, and a limited release of a collection created in collaboration with <YAGI>, headed by Reiji Okamoto and others, as well as inline products for "SOUND SHOP balansa". An opening party will be held on the first night, and vintage remake items will be unveiled at the event.

“The clothes that spun the past 100 years and the next 100 years. Clothing that is loved for a long time regardless of age and gender. " Based on the concept, the collections created by Tanaka Sayori and Kuboshitaakira are based on the borderless inspiration from New York City and the creation of products centered on Japan denim that have been updated to modernize. In this pop-up, "RAW WHITE DENIM", which uses raw materials without decoloration or dyeing, appears. Normally, white denim is white, which is produced through many processes, but I would like to pick up a gem that cuts out the innocent beauty of low white, which does not perform such processing at all.

ITONAMI

The denim brand "ITONAMI" was launched by the Denim Brothers in 2015. In cooperation with the denim factory in the Setouchi area, we plan and sell original products and carry out mobile sales traveling to 47 prefectures. In recent years, Kurabo Industries has been working on a project called “FUKKOKU,” which converts denim collected from individuals into recycled yarns and transforms Shinohara textiles into new denim fabrics. In POP UP, in addition to pre-sales of products that have been collected with FUKKOKU project partner haru., we also sell original sakosh made of dead stock and recycled denim fabrics into special quilt fabrics using NAKED QUILT. Collection of unnecessary denims, exhibitions linked to web serialization, and talk events with haru.

8F HOBO Nichiyobi Exhibition Cleanup Plan, Exhibition "The Spirit of Art Shimatsu"

Can you clean up the art? An exhibition of the "Art Shimatsu" project was held, which started with such an idea. Artist Yasumasa Morimura looked at the flyers and exhibition tables that were discarded after his exhibition was over, and said, "It's wasteful." "Art Shimatsu" started with the feeling that "Isn't it interesting to clean up?" In this exhibition, bags, hats, books, and manga were used by Mr. Morimura's large-scale solo exhibition, using the "huge amount of curtains" used in this exhibition.…Based on the ideas of various artists, such as "art shimatz" exhibitions and sales events will be held.
