The Rainbow Disco Club (RDC), which has become Japan's world-class dance music festival, has teamed up with PARCO to launch a new project, field. On the 5th anniversary of Shibuya PARCO and the 15th anniversary of RDC, the urban event “field-ZODIAC TAKEOVER PARCO” was held.
In 2010, "RDC" started with a 1-day party at Harumi Wharf and changed to a three-day event in Izu, and in 2024 "RDC" held the largest world tour ever. In order to hold the first "filed" event, we invited the cultural aspect of ZODIAC cultural collective from Jakarta. In addition to music such as DJs, they brought the atmosphere of Jakarta to Shibuya PARCO along with various cultures that they develop.
At the free admission "BY DAY" held at noon, DJs such as Licaxxx and Yuka Mizuhara will play from the first store in apparel in Japan by "ZODIAC" in addition to authentic Indonesian Nasigolen, soup curry, and market events. Until the midnight event was held, talk events and DJ play introducing local culture in Asia were broadcast live at SUPER DOMMUNE on the 9th floor of Shibuya PARCO, and at BY NIGHT held late at night, GERO, Jonathan Kusuma, Kenji Takimi and YAMARCHY played DJ from ZODIAC, and the entire floor was heated.
In this article, we will report on the events held all day at Shibuya PARCO from noon on November 23, 2024 to 4:30 in the morning of the next day.

On the top floor of Shibuya PARCO, RDC and Jakarta club ZODIAC took over and turned into a chaotic underground club. As the night gets deeper, the contrast between the dance floor where the red lighting creates an immersive feeling and the outdoor air where the winter night sky spreads. DJ YAMARCHY, who was familiar at RDC parties with the opening, gradually warms the floor with club play incorporating house and electro, baton touches to GERO of ZODIAC crew from Jakarta. Dancing whirlpools with a rough and funky disco and house-based play. From there, Jonathan Kusuma, the music director of ZODIAC, plays mainly techno with a strong groove. He is only one of Asia's leading DJs and producers, and is overwhelmed by the latest sound, including his own songs, and high-skilled DJ play. And the last is Kenji Takimi, a heavyweight in the Japanese DJ world, appearing in a binary set. He listened to the charm of the sound texture unique to the record with a stable play.

The lunch section started at the same time as the opening of Shibuya PARCO. Japanese DJs who have experience in DJ play in RDC and Jakarta, and have a connection with Shibuya PARCO lineup. The top batter is a popular music collective Million Dollar Sounds. 4 DJs created a comfortable air with B2B, and Licaxxx appeared in a binary set. He listened to a selection of songs with good sense, house, techno, electronic and taste. From there, I went to Kikiorix, who is also active as a resident DJ for RDC. The venue on the top floor, which is full of openness, is an entrance free, and people who come by chance in the afternoon and enjoy music from generation to generation, spread. During the time before and after the sun set, Yuka Mizuhara, who is full of euphoric, was a danceable and disco-rich selection, and veteran DJ EZ was finally involved in the dance whirlpool in a wide range of songs, regardless of old and new genres.
