To commemorate the new publication of the painter Tomoo Gokita, a POP UP where you can meet Tomoo Gokita's BOOKS & GOODS, and a talk event will be held for one day only. Tomoo Gokita
A painter. Born in Tokyo in 1969. Since the 1990s, he has attracted attention for his large number of drawing works influenced by music and subculture. In 2000, he published a collection of works "Langery Wrestling" and held a solo exhibition with the same name at Shibuya Parco and other places. After that, he presented a minimal and modeling painting work. He has held numerous solo exhibitions at museums and galleries in Japan and abroad, and has received international recognition. Major solo exhibitions include "THE GREAT CIRCUS" (DIC Kawamura Memorial Museum, Chiba, 2014), "Out of Sight" (Mary Boon Gallery, 2016), "Tomoo Gokita PEEKABOO" (Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery, 2018), "FRESH" (Bram & Poe Los 2, etc. In September 2022, he published a new collection of works "Diary" (888 Books).
