Gota Nishidera Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1973 and raised in Kyoto. Debuted in 1997 as a singer and main songwriter of the band "NONA REEVES" formed when he was at Waseda University.
Since then, he has been involved in many works and artists such as Boy's Brigade, SMAP, V6, YUKI, Masayuki Suzuki, Yasuyuki Okamura, and private Ebisu Junior High School as a music producer and composer.
He is also known as one of Japan's leading music researchers, and in recent years he has been active in television and radio, serializing magazines, especially as a lore of music in the 1980s.
On TBS radio "After 6 Junction 2", he appeared on the program's corner "Beyond the Culture" on a month 1.
In addition to working on official liner notes such as Michael Jackson and Prince, many of the books he wrote were bestsellers.
His masterpieces include novels "Melody Maker of Rumors" (Fusosha) and "Prince Theory" (Shincho Shinsho), and in January 2023, he published his first autobiographical novel "90s Nineties" (Bungeishunju Ltd.).
In his solo activities, in March 2023, he released his third solo album, Sunset Rain, covering Japanese masterpieces.
