"Acne Studios" is a fashion brand from Stockholm, North Europe. Founded in 1996 as a creative group, the brand started with the distribution of 100 jeans to friends, and has now grown into a world-class fashion house. The brand name carries the message "Ambition to Create Novel Expressions" and has built its own minimalism while incorporating a wide range of cultural elements such as art, photography, and architecture.

The theme of the Fall/Winter 2025 Women's Collection is "Inquiry for Contrast, where two different worlds intersect dynamically." The collection expresses the illusions that can coexist in the two worlds by superimposing the nature of Sweden, the brand's roots, with the dynamic energy landscape of the city, and at the same time focusing on the "dual side" in which one woman resides.

In May this year, the shop of Acne Studios opened on the 2nd floor of Shibuya PARCO. The spacious interior, about 70 square meters, is unified in a warm space based on soft pink, a brand signature kolor. The pink sofa where Kikuno sits was created by world-renowned designer Max Lamb. It is attracting attention as a symbolic space that combines the sophisticated aesthetics of the brand with the energetic culture of Tokyo.

Kikuno wears a biker jacket made of leather made of drop shoulder and a soft pink "1981 Jeans" symbolizing the brand. The vintage feel created by denim is due to hand-made pink kolor spray and dirt processing.

"Acne, I like it very much. The acne denim has a beautiful silhouette even with a wide silhouette that is damaged, and it has a calm impression. It fits your body perfectly and gives you a sense of security. I styled it with a very recent feeling, matching the short bottoms with the impact of the power shoulder. Usually, when I choose clothes, I really care about the comforting feeling.”

"My parents loved clothes, furniture and utensils so much, so I feel like I've been shown a lot of things since I was young. I was born in the early 1990s, but looking at the photos from that time, my mother's fashion is somewhat nostalgic and seems to be "I like it after all". If you notice, you unconsciously choose clothes similar to your mother at that time, and I wonder if you have inherited something like your parents' sense as an identity within you.

When I was a child, I was very active, not the type of skirt, and my friends are almost all boys. I also loved drawing, bought colored pencils with many colors, and I often drew pictures in the park. If she could express herself in color, she would say “purple.” I like it for a long time, and when I noticed it, many of my belongings were purple. His brand, “PURPLE THINGS,” launched 10 years ago, was also named for its attachment to the color. "Purple is a color that comes from the fusion of red and blue. I feel like there is a feminine part and a masculine part in myself. Maybe that mix shows you,” she says. The duality and harmony that resides in her is reflected in the color of "purple".
