EASTEAST_2025 TOKYO| Connecting memories of the land with a new landscape. Temporary() -karikakko - Exhibition

At EASTEAST_TOKYO 2025, in conjunction with SIDE CORE's solo exhibition "Living road, Living space" being held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, works by art collective "Temporary ()-karikakko-" will be exhibited at PARCO Art Wall. This work is based on the theme of connecting the Noto Peninsula, Kanazawa, and Tokyo, and photographs of temporary storage sites for the rubble of the earthquake and the uplifted coast, plus figures related to the earthquake. The rubble is the wood of houses that collapsed in the earthquake, and they collect it as fuel, and operate the public bath "Kaihama Amidayu" in Suzu City. Their attitude of practicing art as a "means for living" shows the path that connects the memory of the land and life.
