OIL by Bijutsu Techo | YUYA WADA| THINGS

〈THINGS〉 Based on the new group of new works, we present the fragments of the world that spread around them—VOYAGER/SHAPES/COSMIC CRULLERS. “Man is the warmest place to hide” from the planet, they live with the intention of mimicking the first people they saw on Earth. The world continues to spread quietly, changing its shape and shape. The "THINGS" series by Yuya Wada is a collection of three-dimensional works based on the motif of strange beings mimicking humans that were first seen on Earth. The figure is there as a different creature, while imitating a human being.

YUYA WADA

Born in Shizuoka in 1986. Influenced by films from the 80s and 90s, he studied special makeup and special modeling at film school. Based on the real person I have met so far and their background, I imagined and produced a story saying, "If this person were a different creature." A doll with an appearance that seems to exist will spun a new story for each viewer.

Pacifica Collectives

MONO/mono POLIS/Art objects (three-dimensional works) by Xi Yudai and vintage objects by PACIFICA COLLECTIVES are exhibited in the same space. Please take a look at the mysterious "collection" that gathers and creates "things" that are different from the creator, the date of production, and the country of creation. ※We plan to develop original rags and apparel products from Pacifica Collectives.

S'YTE×Junji ITO -UZUMAKI-

A special collaboration between S'YTE, who inherited the cutting and silhouette unique to Yoji Yamamoto, under the theme of "anti-mode", and Junji Ito, a leading horror manga artist in Japan. In this third collaboration, a new design excerpted from Ito's masterpiece "Uzumaki" and a new work that incorporates a special drawing for this collaboration into the design, making full use of the details and techniques unique to S'YTE. On the first day, Junji Ito's lottery autograph event was held.

Kodak Apparel

Kodak Apparel’s pop-up theme is “Back to the 90s.” Kodak Apparel was born in Korea by taking over the spirit of Kodak, a photographic film brand that has photographed people's moments and symbolized the memories of the times, reinterpreting its iconic film culture as fashion. In this POP UP, we propose a style where retro and newness intersect based on the motif of the 1990s in Japan, where film culture such as instant cameras and prikura was rooted.
