Shibuya Diary | Noon
2024/10/24 (Thursday)
Even though it was October today, the sun was dazzling from the morning, and I was worried about climate change due to the strength of light as if something covering the sky was turned over. I just changed my clothes last week and I don't know what to wear. Some people walk in Shibuya, some are short-sleeved, and others are knitted. While listening to the voice of the election car, I passed through Love Hotel Street and went to Dogenzaka for work meetings. I pass by the side of my style salt ramen near the office where I used to work. When I was talking here until morning while drinking beer at midnight, I was returning home by taxi almost every day through National Route 246. Write down the simmered thoughts on Twitter and immediately erase them. Is it because of late night, age, or city that did all this?
After the meeting, we got off Dogenzaka and headed for Koen-dori St. One day, while walking on this path, I was filled with an incomprehensible promise with a person who did not know what kind of relationship I wanted, a happy feeling that I wanted to run out, and a sense of despair of why this happened. I've forgotten it until recently, but I still remember it. I was certainly hurt, and at the same time I might have hurt someone. When you walk in Shibuya, you will be embarrassed when you remember it, and you will be able to stick to the unbeautiful parts in front of you. The building, which was supposed to have been on the right hand, was completely demolished. A dog-shaped robot is walking along the street. No matter how much the future is, there must be ambiguous things that cannot be moved by 0 and 1 alone.
Koen-dori St., alone, walked with my mother many times. For me, who was a student in the 1990s and 2000s, Shibuya PARCO was a place filled with longing, and I was most excited to buy Zucca clothes and look back at the underground logos and PARCO Gallery. You can feel the city of Koen-dori St., getting off and climbing Dogenzaka, and stepping on your feet. No matter how much buildings decrease or increase, this terrain will remain.

Shibuya Diary | Evening
2022/12/11 (Sun)
After having a picnic in the neighborhood with my university friend K, I went to Shibuya at night to meet q. After finishing each other's schedules from time to time, they met each other in Shibuya, which is the middle point of each home, and had dinner together, drinking tea after meals, and finally standing underground near the last train, and returning home again. On this day too, we met in Shibuya to enter the cafe top, and this lemon attached to tuna sandwich is just a cut of sliced lemon on the lemonade we are drinking now, and we will listen to the events that happened during the week in digest.
It was time to leave the store, so I finished accounting and moved to the Loyal Host in Dogenzaka. At the store where I used to be part-time, I remember being instructed to pass customers through the box seat by the window, and I'm usually guided to the box seat by the window, probably in this store. I wonder if the great royal host thinks, "Hum, the box seat by the window is the best!" And so that as many people as possible can be passed to that seat. That's right. I ordered an apple parfait, and q ordered a cosmodoria. While I always wait for my order, I look at Rottery's closing work, count young people hanging in front of izakaya, and look at pedestrians crossing dangerously and think "dangerous."
On this day, I wrote something in my notebook saying that q would work, and lent me "observation practice" so I don't have time to spare. Thanks to this, the box seat observation party by myself was completed, and it was so fresh that I could find the shape and design of the city that I had always overlooked. The closing time came while paradise tea was pouring into a slightly elevated body by heating, and when the closing broadcast like a dream and Debussy's "Light of the Moon" began to flow, it was out of time. He fled to the underground shopping mall to escape the wind and crowds of the blowing wind, talked to the last train, and went back to each city again on this day.
As of 2024, I rarely go to Shibuya at night. After all, we rent a room in Tokyo and live together. You can go back to the same place without having to take the train, surround the dining table at a large table in the living room, and drink tea in teacup when you leave the bath. q always says something weird and still gives me a new perspective (in the meantime, when I tried to use mascarpone properly, I was told, "I have to use it more like Tiara!" Tiara-chan seems to represent the concept of Chihuahuahua in Omotesando, wearing prepleuri clothes that don't walk on his own.) It's a very convenient life, but sometimes I miss that time. When it gets a bit colder, let's go from the box seat to see the city of Shibuya through the cold glass windows.
