This is a cultural festival that has been held since 2022, where PARCO takes on the challenge of making assumptions, drawing lines, and obscure rules determined by someone through the introduction of various cultures. In 2024, the theme is "city_logue" and will be held from November 8 (Fri) to November 25 (Mon).

Prior to the event, two people, Manki Takenaka (editor) and Aya Yasuda (photographer) who participated in "Aito Ambigation", wrote in a diary about the unforgettable events he had spent in Shibuya. On the time axis of day and night, what is the view of the city of Shibuya that each met?

Shibuya Diary| Noon

2024/10/24 (Thursday)
Even though it was October, the sun was dazzling from the morning, and I was worried about climate change because of the strength of the light that seemed to be turning over one thing that covered the sky. I changed my clothes last week and I don't know what to wear. Some people walk in Shibuya, some people wear short sleeves, and some people wear knits. While listening to the voice of the election car, I passed through Love Hotel Street and went to Dogenzaka for a meeting of work. I pass next to my style salt ramen next to my office where I used to work. When I was talking here until morning while drinking beer at midnight, I was going home by taxi every day on Route 246. Write your simmered thoughts on Twitter and erase them immediately. Is it because of late night, age, or city?

After the meeting, I got off Dogenzaka and headed to Koen-dori St. Someday I was walking on this path, and I couldn't understand well with people who didn't know what kind of relationship I wanted, the happy feeling that I wanted to run out, the despair of why this happened. I forgot it until recently, I remember it. I was hurt, and I could have hurt someone at the same time. When you walk around Shibuya, you will be embarrassed when you remember it, and you will be able to push the parts that are not beautiful in front of you. The building that should have been on the right was completely demolished. A dog-shaped robot is walking along the road. No matter how much the future is, there must be vague things that can't move just by 0 and 1.

Koen-dori St. walked many times with her mother alone. As a student in the 1990s and 1900s, Shibuya PARCO was a place full of longing for me, and I was most excited to buy Zucca clothes and look back at Logos and PARCO Gallery in the basement. Feel the feeling of getting off or climbing on Koen-dori St., Dogenzaka, and feel this city while stepping on with your feet. No matter how much buildings decrease or increase, this terrain will remain.

Shibuya Diary| Night

2022/12/11 (Sun)
After having a picnic with my university friend K in the neighborhood, I went to Shibuya at night to meet Q. q sometimes met each other at Shibuya, the middle point of each other's home, where they had dinner together, drank after the meal, and finally sat down underground until the last train, and returned to their homes. On this day, we waited in Shibuya and entered the cafe top, and the lemon attached to the tuna sand is just a slice of sliced lemon on the lemonade we are drinking, and we listen to the digests of the events that happened during the week.
Since it was time to leave the store, I completed my accounting and moved to the Royal Host in Dogenzaka. At the store where I used to work in the past, I remember being instructed to pass through the box seat by the window, and this store is usually guided to the box seat by the window. Is it possible for a royal host to think, "Hum, the box seat by the window is the best!", so that as many people as possible can be taken to that seat? That's right. I ordered an apple parfait, and q ordered a cosmodoria. While always waiting for an order, they look at Rotteria's closing work, count young people hanging in front of the izakaya, and see pedestrians crossing dangerously and think, "It's dangerous."
On this day, I wrote something in my notebook saying that q was going to work, and he lent me "observation practice" so that I didn't have time. Thanks to this, the box seat observation party by the window was also progressing, and I felt fresh enough to find out the shape and design of the city that I had always overlooked. The closing time comes while the paradise tea is pouring into the body that has been slightly heated by heating, and when the closing broadcast like a dream and Debussy's "Light of the Moon" flows out, it is out of time. He fled to the underground shopping mall to escape the wind and crowds that he wanted to blow, talked to the last train, and returned to each city on this day.

As of 2024, we almost never went to Shibuya at night. After all, we rent a room in Tokyo and live together. You can go back to the same place without having to take the train, sit around the dining table at a large table in the living room, and drink tea in teacup when you get out of the bath. Q always said something weird, giving me a new perspective (when I tried to use mascarpone properly during this time, I was told, "You have to use it more like tiara!" Tiara seems to represent the concept of Chihuahua, who is in Omotesando, wearing a preprili dress that does not walk on his own). It has been a very useful life, but sometimes I miss that time. When it gets a little cold, let's go from the box seat to see the city of Shibuya through the cold glass window.
