THOM BROWNE 2024 Fall Winter Collection

With the arrival of a language-speaking raven to a young man who loses his lover and disturbs his heart, the young man falls into madness — inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s Women’ and Men’s Fall 2024 collection of THOM BROWNE, inspired by the tale poem “The Raven” published in 1845. Military cashmere, hand-woven tweed, and strong shouldered tailoring coats that appear in the collection represent a hordes of crows, and crows and roses are scattered in the collection look based on white and black as symbolic motifs of this season.

Ki Yu Chiba, dressed in a black coat embroidered with a flock of crows blending into the dark. Through the sleeves of the art piece that houses art and fantasy at the same time, he attracted a new side that is different from usual.

Rebuilding into modern tailoring

In 2003, THOM BROWNE began selling five suits at a small reservation-only shop in West Village, New York, and started a business, leading to the start of the collection of men's (2003) and women's (2011). By questioning the traditional proportions, he transformed the suit, the modern uniform, into a modern style. His clothes, made by reinterpreting classical tailoring, symbolize quality craftsmanship and American sensitivity.
The classic sheer soccer sports courts and trousers with striped patterns worn by Ki Yu Chiba, inspired by the preppy style of the U.S. East Coast, and at the same time creatively designed with craftsmanship, are truly a symbol of the brand.
While shooting, he looked over the inside of the store and said, "This is cute," he picked up a "Pablegrain Mini Hector Cross Body Bag" featuring Tom Browne's beloved dog Hector. As if I could play with a real miniature dachshund, I kept the camera with Chiba's smile spilling naturally.

——What did you feel beautiful lately?
"It's the sea. Today, take a plane and watch a video called "The Nature". It was the sea, that was. In the sea, you go into the deep sea and say, "I'm sorry." The fact that I dive in the sea is a glimpse of Hawaii, but it is not deep sea. I've never seen whales."

——What do you think is the charm of fashion?
"The charm of fashion……。 I don't know the charm of fashion. But I like clothes. It doesn’t mean anything like self-expression. Then you will wear what you like and what you like.”

——Have you ever encountered a work that affects your mind?
"Recently, the 'Steel Alchemist' cried in comics. That's right. Finally, cry. It was the first time I cried in comics.”

——Mr. Chiba, you're really pure, right?
“Are you pure? “Yes, it’s pure.”

——So, how do you stimulate Chiba’s senses?
"It's all. It's all right now. That’s right now, it’s all right.”

——Do you have any unforgettable words or unforgettable scenery in your life?
"The unforgettable view……No, I don't know. You can't choose one, right? It's unforgettable, isn't it? It's a bit difficult. Oh, (the unforgettable word) you said, "It's pure." A while ago [laughs].”
