JW Anderson’s Men’s Autumn Winter and Women’s Pre-Fall 2024 is the first film-inspired fantasy collection. It was inspired by Stanley Kublick's "Iswide Shut" (1999). Paintings, curtains, poinsettia, red, etc., which are treated as iconic details in the film, are incorporated into the collection, and paintings drawn by Kublick's wife, Christiane Kublick. The protagonist, a wealthy doctor, is upset one night when his wife confesses that he has been attracted to another man. As he wanders through the city at night, he hears from a friend about a secret gathering (masked ball) and eventually immerses himself into the forbidden world.……。 The collection exudes the inverted atmosphere of the film with non-standard big silhouettes, strangely arranged sleeves, and shirts with distorted silhouettes of giant sleeves, and expresses the glamorous atmosphere of men and women dressed in a masked ball with a smooth coat and tuxedo shirt.
