The story of "Santa Maria Novella" dates back to Florence, Italy in 1221. That year, Dominican monks set up a monastery, built a vegetable garden, and began to grow plants. From the garden, the experience of pharmacy and natural formulations that have been cultivated for centuries has developed and expanded into cosmetics and fragrances. Known as the world's oldest pharmacy, Santa Maria Novella uses natural-grown flowers and natural fats to offer a wide range of items such as fragrances, soaps, face & body care items in traditional recipes. Kaela Kimura and this brand met when she was 19 years old when she made her debut. "At that time, I really liked to go to the Santa Maria Novella store, which was located in front of the Gaien Garden and close to the station without money. Rose Water, which has a fresh scent like squeezed soap and rose petals. It has a tremendous history of 800 years, so I couldn't wear it lightly. There is still a feeling that "we must use it properly" somewhere. When you enter the store, you will feel noble.”

“The smell has power, right? Your mood will definitely change. It feels like air is spreading in a small and closed part somewhere in the brain, as if air has entered a balloon. The Firenze 1221 Edition, which carefully selects eight kinds of Aiko Nic scents that spun the brand's 800-year history and tradition, will be added to the room diffuser collection from July 1st. Shadow can only be done because there is light. That's why there's definitely something "good". I don't think there's anything wasteful about meeting or going on around me. So, there is a feeling in me that I always want to move forward anyway. I think that’s the best way to protect your identity.”

“There are so many unforgettable views over the past 20 years. The faces and atmosphere of customers seen from the live stage that came at the milestone of the 5th, 10th, and 15th anniversary are still unforgettable. But I haven't changed myself all the time. I feel that the desire to deliver the energy that I can give has been connected since my debut, and I feel that it has been up to this day. My heart was "Today's live performance was great!" I just want you to tell me. If you can say that, I think it's enough. However, since I am an adult, I think that the sense of responsibility and coolness have increased more than when I debuted (laughs). After all, the joy of singing songs from the time I debuted and creating music with everyone in the band has never changed. There are moments when we have been together in the band for a long time. “This guy really understood me. How reassure you!” This is when the rhythm and vibration of the music match. Bread! The sense of groove at the moment that coincides with it—that's really comfortable. It's a way to open your heart, isn't it? That's why I feel like I'm still playing music. It's not a conversation, but a sound. That feels great.”
