Minori Murata's solo exhibition "FRUITFUL LIFE A Fruitful Life"
Held a solo exhibition "FRUITFUL LIFE Fruitful Life" by Minori Murata, which combines interactive art and visual art with the question "What is a sustainable and prosperous life?"
In this exhibition, which is influenced by the comedy drama "Good Place" and "Trolley Problem" based on philosophy, Murata's personal thinking experience in London, works with visitors from a microscopic perspective of ants based on his own personal experiences in London.
Visitors can also hold rice balls at the venue, and when they offer queenants, they can play a bad voice. Murata's work shifted from an experimental work in 2020 to an ethical point of view, and in this work, we satirically explored the richness of human activities using a human metaphor called ants. Works such as "Rice don't work" and "Why do the world love bows?" (both woodcut UV prints) are lined up.
Mr. Murata's question is seemingly magnificent, but what I would like to focus on here is whether an individual feels rich, suggesting that a series of momentary experiences that one person feels rich makes society as a whole sustainable.
At the opening event on March 8th (Fri), a performance with artist KOM_I, and on March 12th (Tuesday), an artist talk was held at SUPER DOMMUNE.
