Photographer Masumi Ishida will take the 23FW collection of leather bags that will become an icon of LOEWE. This is the second collaboration following the hammock campaign of the 21FW pre-collection, with a number of photographs beautifully intersecting craftsmanship and clear emotional memories.
When I look at Masumi Ishida's work, I see a portrait that resides in my memories. It awakens the personal memory of the viewer and invites him to a relentlessly pleasant nostalgia.

A bag born with the hint of "hammock" swaying in the shade of a tree. It is a free and mode monument that allows you to unleash the bag from a single shape and change the silhouette in a variety of ways by spreading or folding the side. In the sparkling innocent moments, "hammock" is always our buddy.




"Amasona" of a beautiful and neat form, derived from the name of a brave female warrior in Greek mythology. Its birth dates back to 1975, when women around the world began to strive for equality and freedom. The casually engraved anagram is a symbol of LOEWE’s craftsmanship that has been passed down for years. It transcends time and space, and keeps our pure pride and passion in this moment.







Epilogue
We gathered before sunrise, ate rice that we did not know whether it was breakfast or night meal, and filmed in the morning hazed city of Tokyo. The reflected daily life is full of soft light and nostalgia that invites us to the nostalgic scene that dwells in memory.
"I wanted to photograph the cityscape of Tokyo and the small nature in it. I photographed it in the place I originally liked and the way I usually walk,” says Masumi Ishida.
For her, the charm of photography is that she can remember and share it. And the moment when you want to press the shutter is, "When you meet the light that is chasing with your eyes."
What is "light" for Mr. Ishida?
“I always follow you with my eyes. Something that focuses. In this filming, we were able to see the shining golden light with the sunlight hitting the key charm of LOEWE.”

Born in 1998. Photographer. He held his first solo exhibition "GINGER ALE" in 2017. The following year, at the age of 19, he published his first collection of works "light years -" by TISSUE PAPERS.
