Interview Michihiko Yanai x sunfish Yashiro x Satona Katahira x Masaru Takahashi | “Everyone is laughing with the wind and the rock.”

――"Wind and Rock" celebrates its 20th anniversary. Looking back, how about you?

Sennai: "Wind and Rock" will be the 20th anniversary, "Skyrocket Company" will be the 10th anniversary, and Satona Katahira will be the 10th anniversary of their major debut.

All: Congratulations.

Sennai: How many years are not more important from the surroundings than they are thrilled? That's right.

Do it : How many years are there for Yu-kun?

Sennai: It's like obsessed (laughs).

Do it : Are you obsessed with different kanji? (laughs). Obsessed with what?

Katahira: (laughs).

Takahashi: Obsession with the world and others in general (laughs).

Do it : So, isn't there anything? Singing or debuting.

Takahashi: Since it debuted in 2010, it will be the 14th anniversary in one year.

Do it : Was there anything big in 2013?

Takahashi: It was in 2013 that I performed live at Budokan for the first time.

All: 10th anniversary of Budokan!

Takahashi: I did it! Shall we go?

Do it : Shall I squeeze lemon? If it’s a drinking party, you’ll squeeze it, right?

Sennai: That's all right, sorry.

Takahashi: Is there a way to squeeze lemons at a drinking party?

Do it : It's a story about Mr. Yanai as a woman.

Takahashi: Oh, I see.

Sennai: The first house was ordered first so as not to wait. This is the basement called "CHAOS KITCHEN" (Chaos Kitchen), and it is a shop with a reputation for its deliciousness. A toast to you?

All: A toast to you! Congratulations.

Sennai: Let's go back to the exhibition (laughs). PARCO, Shibuya, exhibition, and this floor are important.
Speaking of PARCO, Takahashi is the place where we created a song called “Fukushoi”.

Takahashi: TOKYO FM Shibuya Spainzaka Studio.

Sennai: New Year's special issue of "Wind and Rock", New Year's Eve in 2009 to New Year's Day in 2010. You were born there, right? Takahashi went to the emergency stairs in the very cold weather and made it. It was a live broadcast of four or five hours, right?

Takahashi: I think I did it for about 5 hours. The day’s email theme was “What do you think is needed to change the world?” So, while I received a lot of emails, I was improvising. Mr. Yanai shouted, "Let's make it the song now," and sang it with it. But at the end, I wanted an ending song. I just wanted you to make that song carefully, so I left the studio for about 30 minutes or 1 hour and made it.

Do it : That's a two-step stupid [laughs]. Make a good song on the same day.

Sennai: Speaking of Spanish slope, it is not right now, but is it the Spanish slope studio that sunfish started Skyrocket Company?

Do it : It's Spanish slope. When it comes to a little more personal story, there was a theater of Yoshimoto called Shibuya Koen-dori St., where I debuted in 1997. Everyone is shopping, eating rice, making stories, and this street itself is the place of youth. When I started playing radio at PARCO and Spainzaka Studios in 2013, I felt like I came back to the place where my starting point was.

Sennai: Some sort of triumphal.

Takahashi: Didn’t you want to do your own show?

Sennai: I don't really care about this guy (laughs).

Do it : That's right (laughs).

Sennai: Rather, he is doing well today. I do my own show quietly, but since I'm a kind person, I feel like I'm doing it properly where I'm called.

Do it : But I just had to drink it (laughs).

All: (laughs).

――How did each "wind and rock" begin?

Sennai: When I talk about "Wind and Rock", do you remember Takahashi's beginning of "Wind and Rock"?

Takahashi: Perhaps the first "Wind and Rock" was when we talked with Takeru Sato?

Sennai: Rather than "Monthly Wind and Rock", it was the first time that we met in front of Koriyama Station, the festival of "Kaze and Rock" in 2009.

Takahashi: If you get bigger, my first time is the office in Harajuku. It was also “wind and rock”, right? I think it was my first "wind and rock" that I talked with Mr. Yanai on the terrace.

Do it : I'm Yu-kun and Yanai-san, both producers and artists, and teachers and students are strange in terms of age, but I thought it was an image of a teacher-student relationship.

Sennai: I'm a friend.

Takahashi: It was a new human relationship within me. They are neither parents nor brothers. Of course, I respect you, but if you get stuck in a teacher-pupil relationship, you will not feel lonely.

Sennai: I don’t think I have a teacher relationship either.

Takahashi: Deeper and more important.

Do it : Like my best friend.

Takahashi: But it's different with my friends.

Sennai: Certainly not a brother, nor a cousin. I'm not a parent.

Takahashi: Of course, I love it, but in that sense I want to give a new title.

Katahira: It's a strange relationship.

Sennai: What is “Wind and Rock” for everyone? Are you atitude or a company?
Rina Katahira called for "Kaze and Rock Imonikai" in 2013, and he was still living in Fukushima at that time.

Katahira: You can get them out every year from there.

Do it : You played baseball, right?

Sennai: I'm doing it. The most serious thing about baseball is Satona-chan.

Katahira: No, I don't know the most rules.

Takahashi: You hit it right, you hit it.

Sennai: I'm playing baseball as a musician, but when the pitcher comes out and throws it down, I'm very angry.

Do it : Don't be foolish.

Katahira: Not so, you practiced hitting a fast ball at the batting center. But it's hard to hit the mountain.

Sennai: sunfish was a broadcaster of Radio Wind and Rock.

Do it : I've been doing it for about two years, and it's about 2012 and 13 years.

Takahashi: It was just when I did Budokan.

Do it : That's why my family and relatives come to Yu-kun's Budokan, and when the last greeting is Yanai-san or a person close to the relationship, at the same time, I'm going to do Budokan for the first time. I'm a writer of "Wind and Rock", and at the same time, I originally had a relationship with Masuko of the angry hair Ten on Space Shower TV and had a relationship, but I wonder if I could not go to Budokan for work. Then, in the recording of "Wind and Rock" that I went by a writer, Mr. Yanai said that this is not how my job is, but whether I can go or not. It's a ceremonial occasion. As well as Yu-kun, and Katen-san said that the live performance of a really close relationship is not a live, but a ceremonial occasion. So I don’t have the option to go. So, I thought, so I adjusted my work.
Well, if you think it's a ceremonial occasion, you can't go. I was told by Mr. Yanai during a radio program that was involved in "Wind and Rock".

――Do you have any memorable memories of Shibuya PARCO episodes in Shibuya?

Sennai: You talked about the memories of Shibuya. Rina Katahira hasn't been so long since he came to Tokyo. That said, these three are from the Northeast.

Katahira: For the first time in high school, it was not Fukushima, but Shibuya.

Sennai: Yes, that's right!

Do it : Surprisingly!

Katahira: I was going to Tokyo by Boytre and tried my courage on the way home, and I did it at the bus terminal at the south exit, Moyai statue. It's a raw sound on the ground there.

Sennai: How was it?

Katahira: You were so scared.

Sennai: Put a guitar case? How much did you get?

Katahira: I don't remember, but it's about 2-3000 yen.

Takahashi: What were you afraid of?

Katahira: I'm scared of the act of doing live on the street, and I'm always wondering whether to do it or not. So I stopped to try my best, and sat down.

Takahashi: It's not Fukushima, but Shibuya for the first time. Surprisingly, it was surprising that I went to Boytre (laughs).

Sennai: Did you buy clothes at Shibuya PARCO?

Katahira: I bought it. When I came out of Fukushima, I didn't know where to buy clothes in Tokyo, so I bought them at PARCO for the time being. If it was PARCO, I wonder if there were fashionable clothes.

Do it : I started working as an entertainer, and when I was allowed to do various things like a play, I admired PARCO THEATER. PARCO THEATER is a great place where Koki Mitani is doing. Whether I'm a performer or a director, or a scriptwriter, I've always wanted to do it someday. I did it early at Honda Theater and did it at Kinokuniya Hall, but it didn't reach PARCO THEATER. I haven't done that recently, but in that sense, I thought it would be PARCO someday.

Sennai: Just before the closing of the previous PARCO, I had a reading play called Love Letters, and I played with Kano Kimura.

Do it : Amazing!

Sennai: I do radio every day, are there any conditions? Didn't your mouth move today?

Do it : That's right. After that, it will change depending on the director. I think there are two types of people who speak on the radio, people who change their way of speaking due to sound effects, and people who are not affected by sound, but since I entered from "SCHOOL OF LOCK!", I'm more susceptible to sound. That's why my physical condition changes depending on how to put in BGM and the director of that day.

Takahashi: Do you have anything other than your physical condition? Mentality.

Do it : There's Mental, right? Every profession may be the same, but I'm doing an evening show, so I'm killing a little sensitivity. Sometimes I want to cry when I listen to a song, but in such a case, I wonder if there is a radio program once a year. It's evening, so it's a program that I listen to while doing housework while working.

Sennai: I went and cried, didn't I?

Do it : When Mr. Yanai comes, he will be careful, or he will not be careful. When Mr. Yanai comes, I'm crying about 1/2. "Skyrocket Company" and other people who could express the anxiety and stress of various jobs came to me.

Takahashi: When I notice, there is a person who is good at picking the button of the shirt in the heart, and there is a feeling that it is holding hands in the body.

Do it : I'm good at taking off.

Sennai: Satona will start a radio program in April to commemorate the 10th anniversary.

Katahira: It starts in the local Fukushima.

Sennai: Radio seniors, do you have any advice?
When I started a radio program for the first time, I had a plan that various people would give advice, and I didn't think I was talking to many people, and I was told that it wouldn't be like talking to me, and I got advice that I was going to talk to about five people.

Do it : 5 people is good advice.

Sennai: It's fun to hear after a long radio. I was told that when I talked as usual, it sounds dark.

Do it : I definitely need to raise the tone a little. But it depends on the time of day you air on. I think, Mr. Rina, I'm sorry, Mr. Rina. If you go to the tone of Rina's voice, I wonder if the normal tone would be better if it was the time after the sun fell.

Takahashi: Why do you call me Rina?

Do it : The first time I saw him, he was already selling. I happened to see Rina in Fukushima at the age of 18 when she was in qualifying for "School of Lock!" "Lighting Lion". I was still an amateur, but at that time it was already selling, and the scenery I saw was selling. I think this guy can sell. From there, Mr. Rina. 12 years, Mr. Rina.

Katahira: I'm happy.

Sennai: Looking back, sunfish came to Live Fukushima Wind and Rock SUPER Nomaoi in 2011.

Do it : From that time on, I started to learn about Fukushima little by little through "Wind and Rock". I didn't know Nomaoi either.

Sennai: It's the first festival of Nomaoi.

Do it : The following year, I went to Nomaoi in Soma. I was taught a lot at that time, and the live performance was good. Also, as a writer, I participated in the "Wind and Rock" event, and while you're a musician, I was wandering around and talking with director Yokokawa.

Sennai: Yes, I did a feeling couple 5 to 5.
