This visual features Nakanomichi, a photographer who cuts out everyday moments with a clear gaze and continues to delicately sublimate the beauty of life into his work. Pale memories of childhood, sparkling water surface, spawning dragonfly, crossing past and future…And at the same time, it seems that the preciousness of limited things will be highlighted.
The logo was produced by Siun of the graphic design office. "Light", "Meeting" and "Life"…It was expressed in graphic that reminds me of the blinking stars in the universe.
When I returned to my parents' home, I saw an 8mm tape taken by my parents.
It reflected the apartment in Chapel Hill, the nostalgic scenery of Matsumoto, the young father and mother, and the young me.
The fact that I am now and the eyes of my parents at that time seemed to be continuous and looked at somebody's memories, and it didn't seem to have really happened.
The environmental issues covered in the news, what we can do for a better future, is vague, unrealistic, and honestly I think there are too many things that I don't understand.
One thing I can understand is that in the large flow of space scale, our lives are also going around as part of the "circulation".
The video recorded on tape made me think that today is not the continuation of yesterday, but the continuation of the present forever.
I wanted to combine the radiance of a moment, captured in the passing days, with the world I'm watching now, with the same 8mm video.
It seemed my own right answer in this project that I had my parents and myself now, and that the world around me was circulated in that way.
"Living is always in the choice of this moment," someone said. However, I think it is human beings who can think about the uncertain future. The light of this moment, which was certainly there, will surely return again after traveling through the ends of the universe. What kind of choices are we making until that day?
