I am fascinated by white and black

“The color that jumps unconditionally is surprisingly black. It's the root…You can't cut it off. I think so in myself. Last time, I had an exhibition called Monochrome, but after all, there are things in black that can be found infinitely. There are various blacks, such as shiny black, shiny black, net-like black. But when I compare myself to color.…It may be white. White is very honest. Too delicate color that makes various changes against various small stimulations. In addition, white can be any color, but it is also a color that will never be killed. If you compare yourself to color, let's say "titanium white." This is the color I use most. It’s all colours, but in fact it feels the strongest. Maybe that’s the color you want to do.”

When I drew the brightest picture

"In March and April of last year, I stayed in the form of a stay production and prepared for the exhibition. I want to draw about 6 large pictures at once. There was no bath or window, and the electricity could not be turned off for 24 hours.…。 There was no bed, so put the cardboard on the floor. I slept on cardboard for two to three weeks during my stay. I drew a picture while being rugged, but the picture at that time was the brightest. “I have only pictures and myself. I have a memory of painting while thinking that I can't escape anywhere." It’s the hardest and most enjoyable memory.”

"I think the various cultures that I touched as adults, such as manga, movies, and professional wrestling, shaped my own way of thinking now. I was a super high child in my childhood, and I was always crazy. In fact, I still want to run naked now (laughs), but when I grow up, I can't always explode. I think I'm drawing a kind of tyranny picture of myself, but in a sense it's a sense of comfort."
