Interview Tsuyoshi Muro × Tatsuya Wakaba, Yoshimura, Shuntaro Takamura | The movie "God seeks rewards"

Keisuke Yoshida, a film director known for his "Himeano Le" and "Blank". His latest work, "God seeks rewards," will be released to the theater on June 24 (Fri).

This work is an original work written by Director Yoshida on the subject of "YouTuber". The bottom side YouTuber Yuri-chan (Yukino Kishii) met Tsuyoshi Muro, who worked for an event company, and gradually expanded his activities. At that time, she was introduced to a junior of Tamojin, Umekawa (Ryuya Wakaba), and met the famous YouTuber Chorei (Yoshimura Kaito) and designer Murakami Allen (Shuntaro Taka), and broke at once. By looking at Tamojin, it will develop into a fierce battle with the soaring Tamojin.……。

In this "PEOPLE", we interviewed Tsuyoshi Muro, Tatsuya Wakaba, Kaito Yoshimura, and Shuntaro Taka. In addition to the independent interview between Muro and Wakaba, we will send you a super long interview with the special content of the dialogue between Muro x Wakaba and Yoshimura x Taka.

——A tag with Keisuke Yoshida, who follows "Himeano-Le". This is an original work, but was there any difference?

Muro: I think that the stance and atmosphere of the director at the site have not changed, but "Himeano-L" is something that tries to draw in a movie based on the world view of the original work, and if it is original like "God seeks rewards", I feel like the shoulder strength was lost in a good sense. And there is also a part where you can feel your attention. This time, I felt the director's strong commitment to the scene where Tamojin and Yuri-chan (Yukino Kishii) played with a selfie stick. The schedule was limited, so I was nervous.

——I heard from Director Yoshida and Mr. Kishii that there were many free performances (actings that did not specify lines in scripts, etc., but left to actors on site).

Muro: That's right. It is said that it is a play that is not tied to a line, or if you are not on the script, you may be able to relax, and a mysterious truth comes out. This work is a story of a girl who has just launched the system and a man who is trying to support it, but we are also illuminated, making it suitable as a sense of distance between people. I think it's a production in anticipation of that.

After all, it's the relationship of trust between Director Yoshida and Mr. Kishii. I think it's only because of the desire to leave it with peace of mind. To me, "I guess those who don't tie them with a script will do it freely. I'll let you do it."

——In the play, Tamojin is watching this amazingly transforming. In his comment on this work, Mr. Muro said, "I decided to see myself not myself."

Muro: Even if you have a desire to be kind in yourself, there are some hypocritical things if you look at yourself from diagonally. The kindness and behavior of people who want to like and think well, and on the contrary, if you lose such feelings, you will be disappointed or unbelievable to others. God goes to that extreme place.

There are times when you fall in love, or when you look at the world situation, you may be discouraged or wonder why, but I don't think you'll experience that much in everyday life. The kind person seems to be in a state where you don't have to be yourself, and your emotions suddenly turn over. In the sense that I was driven, I was a self that I had never seen before.

——The transformation of Yuri-chan played by Kishii-san is also amazing. There was a horror, such as the scene of the shuraba in Families.

Muro: Do you say that one person is going to change as they move toward their desires, or when confidence born from a little successful experience creates a look at others, you are scared?

——However, I think that the desire to be someone at the root of the desire itself is something that "understands." How did you receive it?

Muro: If you replace yourself, you are doing this kind of job, and there is something you can understand more than you want to stand in front of you and do something. In the days when the word "I want to sell" was said to be dull, I dared to use it to get people to remember their names, but people in this industry have a strong feeling even if they don't say it. It's a job that won't be established unless someone sees it.

The word "request for approval" has come to be used more often. With the development of technology and the creation of various places where various things can be seen, I feel that everyone is now. I guess some people have a strong will to do it even if they don't watch it, but there are many people who want to do it.

——In that sense, it is also a work that does not choose the viewer.

Muro: In particular, this work depicts human greed and foolishness. People want to sell, want to be recognized, and want to be praised, so people rush toward them. But on the other hand, it's also funny. You can enjoy it regardless of gender or gender.

It may be like that. I think the word "love story that is hard to warm up" that describes this work is the most suitable one.

——Mr. Wakaba will be participating for the first time in Yoshidagumi. What kind of image did you have about Director Yoshida's work?

Wakaba: It was completely different from the statue of Yoshida that I thought through the work, and it was a very light person and the mouth was about 30 times that of me, and I thought, "I see, this person was making such a bad character movie."

Yoshida's work has been seen since the time of Sankaku. I like "Himeano-Le" including the original work, but the last drop is not a niche. When Yoshida did it, he was able to sublimate himself into entertainment, and also depicts the sadness and eerieness of Morita. It was a very interesting director, so I was happy to hear from you. At the time of costume matching, he said, "I don't like people who say 'I like human observation'" and said, "I hate Umekawa the most (I play)." (Laughs).

Also, this time, it was very big that Muro was starring. I was looking forward to being able to play together, and where will I get when Yoshida draws YouTuber? I was interested in that place. Prejudice and Respect—I wanted to know Yoshida's thoughts on the job of YouTuber. Of course, Mr. Yoshida is twisted, so I don't know how much his thoughts are written (laughs).

——In this work, I really felt the stiffness of words. That's the case with slander, but I think that the crisp part of how to receive and treat overlaps with the modern atmosphere. Mr. Wakaba himself, how do you see modern words?

Wakaba: I think the language itself is something that changes rapidly with the times, and I feel that "how to communicate" is more important than that. In recent years, my clothes have become more and more black, but the intention of "communicating properly" has greatly influenced it.

When the colors are worn, there is a feeling that words are difficult to convey, and I try to wear black as much as possible during interviews and meetings. Let's reduce your information and communicate the nuances properly. Even if you use the same language, the way you communicate will inevitably change, so I want to control it a little.

This is the case when I play, and I try to understand "what I want to do" rather than the words themselves. I think that's the case with slander, but words are just means and not purpose. I would like to be able to catch what kind of temperature and what scene the director wants to make, and in that sense, I don't trust words too much.

——Mr. Wakaba is also checking the manuscript for his own interview.

Wakaba: That's because I'm very careful about how to communicate. I want to make the words I want to convey properly. There was a promotion period of one year in "On the city", so there were many interviews, and it was hard to check dozens of media articles, but I would like to continue in the future.

——In terms of words, I heard that there were many ad-lib parts in shooting.

Wakaba: Yes. There were many parts like "Speak appropriately" and it was hard because it was a very weak class. I don't want to do what I can, but I don't want to see the face when I let you do what I don't want to do.

In the scene of the drinking party at the beginning, there was a line about me, and others were not so detailed, "It's more exciting! "It's fun."

——Mr. Wakaba has appeared in many original works, including this one.

Wakaba: I'm a person who really thinks that the original is good. There are some parts that are simply interested in, but it is big that you can put in various senses. For example, with regard to adlib I just talked about, I'm afraid that if you have an original, you will be away from the original character. While you can shoot something very raw, it's a dangerous ropeway. However, Mr. Yoshida may have strength and weakness, but I think he is a person who shoots it even if it is original or not.

That's why I'm really looking at it. Mr. Yoshida talks very much and feels light at the scene, but there is a feeling that he really sees it. The person himself says, "I hate people who observe humans," but that person himself is the same. I felt something like a message that I didn't let me do what I was good at, or "I can't help it."

——Then, this time, it is not a form of talking with Director Yoshida about the role.……。

Wakaba: I didn't do it in particular. I felt like I copied a person I really hate to see.

I also feel when I'm doing a bad guy or watching a movie, but I think that the guy who really looks at the other person's eyes and can say, "I really like it." I think that what I can't say "I like" is a kind of pure love or really like it, but I don't trust anyone who says without timidity. It's close to the guy who says, "I'll definitely return it, so lend me money." I did that kind of guy purely (laughs).

——Certainly, the character played by Wakaba in "Kasumi Arimura's Shore" was light, but I did not have the impression of "Yabai".

Wakaba: That was simply a stupid guy (laughs). But here (Umekawa) is close to psychopath, or it is not easy for the person to be sick. Even if I can't understand it with my head, it's a type that I try once, so I'll accept any role, but Umekawa was a bad person and I couldn't get involved.

What I decided this time was "I think I'm good." For example, a scene where he said, "He was talking about such rumors," is not a calculation, but rather a purely thing. I thought that the more pure it would be a really bad guy, so I decided to go there.

——The scene with Mr. Muro and Mr. Kishii also changed and the relationship changed, and there was a feeling of live.

Wakaba: I don't want to bring it to the scene so much, but I think it's good to change what happened on the spot. You can look like a completely different person in the next scene. It's like that.

——This time, there are many actors of the same generation.

Wakaba: It was exciting and fun. Yoshida seemed to have an image that I didn't seem to hear the most (laughs), and after finishing, he said, "I didn't do that at all." I'm pretty serious (laughs).

——(laughs). Mr. Wakaba celebrated his birthday on June 10th. Do you have any current goals?

Wakaba: I don't want to be comfortable. Because of your personality, if you go to a cozy place, you will pull out your hand. "God seeks rewards" had a lot of uncomfortable moments, and even at the scene where I was shooting until this time, I took myself in that direction. I want to make it difficult to do it.

Muro: (Look at the cream soda that was brought) This is a production. Now I thought, "I've come to ask for this senior cream soda" (laughs).

Wakaba: No, not. This is me who asked me (laughs).

Muro: Yeah……。 Well, I thought it was a production for taking pictures! (laughs)

Wakaba: (laughs).

——Once again, I would like to hear the encounters of the two, but the first co-starring was the drama "Samurai High School" (09), and then Wakaba appeared on Muro's stage "muro Shiki.7" (13) It's a flow that you did.

Muro: In the meantime, can I have a "tavern" put in? At an izakaya in Ebisu, Wakaba had a round back and didn't know where to look (laughs).

Wakaba: The focus was not right……(laughs).

Muro: (laughs). There were times when I thought I would stop doing the play together (laughs).

——(laughs). With it in between, it follows "muro style.7", the movies "Meikara Akegarasu" and "muro style.9" (15). There are many opportunities for co-starring.

Muro: It's dark, isn't it? The fact that I stood together in 7 and 9 of "muro ceremony" remains strong in my actor's life, and I have a lot of learning and I feel that I felt very painful. Since it was a three-person play and a two-person play, I was asked to carry one-third and one-half of the stage, and since I went around the country for performances, I really had a lot on my back.

Wakaba: As soon as I met Muro as an actor, I met Muro as a director, so there is a gap between the public image and Muro's image in me.

Muro: I've seen me many times when my eyes are bloody (laughs). On the other hand, there may be no difference. When I see Ryuya Wakaba on the stage, TV, and on the screen, what floats in everyone is "?" I think so. What kind of person you are, a good young man, or a crazy man?……。 It's a "I don't know" existence that makes you think. I hope you will continue to take care of it in the future.

When I first saw him, the appearance was very impressive. I still like it, and I'd like to see it all the time. After all, it's attractive because I don't know. Wakaba would be embarrassed to use the word "mysterias" (laughs), but I think that's a good place.

——This time, it is the role of the relationship between seniors and juniors of the company.

Muro: You really didn't like him. An evil without malice appeared! I thought it was (laughs).

Wakaba: He's a purely bad guy.

Muro: I thought it was the most dangerous guy. I feel the most madness (laughs).

It seems that there were some such people in Yoshida's life. It seems that he put it in the script. While watching the young leaves who performed it brilliantly beyond the script, I thought, "I'm scared" (laughs).

Wakaba: (laughs). What I thought again this time was that I played a role of a different relationship from Mr. Muro each time. That's also interesting.

Muro: Also, "muro style." and "Meikarasu" are conscious of customers. It's a comedy delivered to customers, but in the case of Mr. Yoshida, the audience is complete in the movie regardless of the audience. It was fun to do that this time. In particular, the scene of three people, including Mr. Kishii.

Wakaba: It was fun over there.

Muro: All three are bees, or they don't feel like a "play battle", but they just have their own stance to establish a conversation. It was interesting because there was a sense of tension.

——The relationship is also changing in the scene. Did you talk together between filming?

Muro: No, I'm not talking so much. When I did the stage together, I was shy (laughs), and the moment I met, "It's been a long time. How about these days? "It's not easy to talk intricately.

Wakaba: It's shy.

——As you mentioned on "Yoshimura Intermediate Radio", the encounter between them was an audition by Michito Fujii.

: In the audition, I did a scene like fighting each other. At that time, the first impression was that I thought, "There is a guy who looks like a guy."

Yoshimura: After that, when I met privately, I really remember that Shuntaro came to set up a bright red jersey. I thought, "It's cool."

: As I always think, (Yoshimura) The world is exquisite in the balance between the role and the person. That's why I feel fresh every time, and I don't get tired of watching it.

Yoshimura: It's the first time I have been told such a thing (laughs). Shuntaro has a presence, is full of confidence, is not surprised, and feels good. That's true for a long time.

: I don't have confidence (laughs).

Yoshimura: That's right.

: I'm super aggression (laughs). But it is often said that "I don't know."

Yoshimura: It looks like an astronaut. Astronauts are required to have a variety of skills and athletic abilities, but the most important thing is heart rate. For you need Men Tal, who will not move in any pinch. I was doing it in "Ad Astra" starring Brad Pitt.

: Well, I don't know. I'm not the most suitable because my face is normal and my heart is pounding (laughs).

Yoshimura: (laughs).

——Is Mr. Yoshimura nervous during his work?

Yoshimura: I'll do it, but there are places where I'm tired of tension. I look at myself who is nervous and get tired of it, and look for different tensions.

: It's cool……。

——How did you feel when you read the book or script of "God seeks rewards"?

Yoshimura: I thought it was a work that I wanted to do now. I felt that the role of YouTuber was very difficult.

: When I read the project book, I thought, "What do you feel?", But I felt that the betrayal and development to the viewer were very like Mr. Yoshida. Only scary people come out (laughs).

Yoshimura: I'm scared. They are all bad guys.

: I like "Sankaku" and "Himeano-ru", but there was a contrast between Yoshida's dark taste and brightness.

Yoshimura: Yoshida's work is interesting. "Irene of Love", "Dog Monkey", "BLUE/Blue"……I like everything. It's amazing to wrap the bad parts of humans with humor and humor and do it brightly. I think it's a ruin to draw something that becomes a dark and stupid guy if you do it as it is.

——The visuals of YouTuber Chorei (Kaito Yoshimura) and designer Alan Murakami (Shuntaro Taka) played by them are also unique.

Yoshimura: At the time of costume matching, "Let's make it flashy anyway. On the surface, it's easy to understand. Let's make it feel like that. "

: When I was dressed up, I happened to have a beard, but when I saw it, Mr. Yoshida said, "That's good. Let's feel like that." Isn't Yoshida a decision very fast?

Yoshimura: It's fast.

——How did you feel about each other's roles?

: I thought it would be difficult. I'm going to have a hard time if I'm told to play YouTuber. But that's not the story I mentioned earlier, but I thought it was a ruin because the "likeness" of the people in the world can be seen properly.

Yoshimura: As a basement, designers aren't the role that anyone can do. But I took it to a state "surely," and felt that there was something I was born. The atmosphere was really good.

——Chorei and Allen are both roles that have a great influence on Yuri-chan and Tamojin. How did you play with Mr. Kishii and Mr. Muro?

Yoshimura: Mr. Kishii is a very talented person, isn't he? I knew the same thing many times, and I knew where the camera and lighting were, and I always thought I was watching calmly from a bird's-eye view.

: Also, it's a reaction play or a reaction. Mr. Yoshida also took great care of that kind of place. Since I was quite a light-hearted role, it was great that Mr. Kishii pulled me.

Muro-san has a scene in which I (Allen) abuse Tamojin in the sea, but at that time, Muro's performance is really interesting and easy to abuse (laughs). It was very easy because they performed like "That's right, I'll say."

Yoshimura: It's an interesting thing that can only be done by Mr. Muratsuyoshi. There is also a sense of security that will pick you up no matter what you say.

: What I remember is that when I was sitting in a chair and taking notes during the camera test of the scene, Yoshida was always laughing (laughs). Because I was a black costume, I said, "There's one 'DEATH NOTE'! I was laughing, "I'm luk."

Yoshimura: (laughs).

——It was impressive that Mr. Taka appeared on the "Yoshimura Intermediate Radio" earlier, "I want to sell." Please tell us what you feel and are aiming for now.

Yoshimura: Just before that recording was the shooting of "God seeks rewards", but when I said, "It's been a long time," Shuntaro said, "Would we be licking?" At 7:00 a.m. in Ebisu, Shibuya (laughs).

: (laughs). At that time, I was so depressed. What was it?……。

Yoshimura: It was the recording of the radio after returning it, "I don't think that's the case," but this time I said, "I don't have to sell my people" (laughs). I wondered what happened.

: (laughs). But it was bright at that time. I was very depressed at the time of shooting, but at the time of recording, I said so, but the tension was rising and it was fun.

Yoshimura: How about the channel now?

: I'm going to survive the summer with a spirit! I feel like it. How about that?

Yoshimura: I think so. Rather than thinking with my head, there is a bat seat, so I can't hit it.

: Do you have anything to increase your motivation? Healing. I feel tired. I'm watching the Nature Documentary "OUR PLANET Our Earth". You can relax when you watch a swarm of animals or a bird's courteous dance.

Yoshimura: That's right. I guess I'm drawing a picture.

Also, I want summer to be summer! I don't want to give the summer to God this year.

: That's good. Finally, I got a romantic word (laughs).
