VISUAL| Kanade Hamamoto

This visual is based on the theme of "circulation", and uses photographer So Sakamoto, who expresses memories such as daytime dreams as "photos that are not seen." Toshihiko Hosaka, a sand sculptor, created a "Castle of Hope" that symbolizes only the material "sand" and "water" that exists in nature on the Nobiru Coast of Higashimatsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture, with the aim of "circulating the limited resources of the earth carefully and connecting the beautiful scenery and environment of the earth to the future." Sunlight that blends into the sand, sparkling blue water surface…The story is unfolded while staying close to the scene of the transition of nature. The logo design was handled by Tetsujiro Yagi, a graphic using 3DCG objects.
During the exhibition, art works appeared at the Shibuya PARCO 2F connecting passageway along with the visual release at the Shibuya PARCO entrance. It is the only printing paper that has received WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) certification and has adopted and produced "One Planet Paper®", which is characterized by linking all 17 SDGs goals. After the exhibition, Okawa Printing Co., Ltd., which was responsible for environmental printing of art works "CO2 Zero Printing", will recycle and collect it with zero CO2 delivery, and the work will be reborn as used paper, cardboard, and toilet paper.
※「One Planet Paper®」
This is Japan's first fair trade-certified paper made from banana stalks from organic banana stems in Zambia, Africa, which is made using traditional Japanese paper techniques, and offset CO2 generated in fiber processing, transportation, and paper production.
