SHIBUYA PARCO 5th ANNIVERSARY｜ "PARCO IS A THEATER" is an event celebrating the 5th anniversary of Shibuya PARCO. Photo report of a 10-day “theatrical” celebration

The new Shibuya PARCO celebrated its 5th anniversary since its reopening in November 2024. About 50 years ago, PARCO IS A THEATER will be held from November 15th (Fri) to November 24th (Sun), 2024, featuring the philosophies of Shibuya PARCO, which started with the theater, gathering extraordinary experiences as if they were entering the theater. The “theater” immersion experience in 10 days of anniversary is 40 projects of rage. Delivering the vivid moments of the festival held every day with a photo report.

SUPER DOMMUNE SPECIAL PROGRAM｢sabukaru online summit」

Saturday, November 16
To celebrate Shibuya PARCO’s memorable anniversary year, we held a special DOMMUNE program. Adrian Bianco, editor-in-chief of the online magazine "sabukaru online" which moves the stage to Shibuya PARCO 10th floor and disseminates Japanese subculture worldwide, and Naohiro Ukawa of DOMMUNE, who is a leading figure in digging into peripheral culture for day and night DEEP, made the first contact. In addition, we welcome guests from international cultural experts VERBAL, Darth Raider, Kan Takagi, to select a deep topic selected from "sabukaru online" about the international gaze directed toward Japanese subcultures. There is also a DJ time by mileZ (FULLHOUSE) from London. The one-night "sabukaru online summit" gathered the thoughts of those who cross borders and love culture.
