Hara Saori| Questioning "vibration and acceptance" through the memory of the body born and raised in Japan, an earthquake-powered country.

Saori Hara, who creates performances using various media such as his own body, light, sound, text, and drawing under the theme of "environment and body", presented the choreographed work "P wave" at ComMunE. The theme of this work, which has been developed while changing shape since 2021, is "vibration and acceptance." Hara, who was born and raised in Japan, an earthquake-powered country, rethinks his physical memory from a choreographic point of view, is the physical and mental way of human beings in a swaying environment. What is discovered in the process is the "will" as uncertain as waves that are vaguely occurring and disappearing. The title "P wave" is taken from the initial tremor (primary wave), which is first recorded in seismometer when an earthquake occurs, as a symbol of the perspective that captures its "will".

※The performance at SHIBUYA PARCO ART WEEK is a modified version of the premiere of "P wave" in May 2024 (Venue: Goethe Institute Tokyo).

Asahi, Ishikawa

Born in 1995. Actor. 1st year student at Tama Art University, Department of Theater Dance Design, dropped out of 3 years. After that, he moved to France and entered the Jacques Le Coq International Theater School. It was good to enroll, but I could hardly understand French or English, and I survived two years with daily classes, extreme poverty in Paris, intuition and effort. Three and a half years have passed since I returned to Japan, and I was blessed with the opportunity to teach myself, and what was the mime (assimation) that was based on Le Coq's education base, and what was the gap between the current Japanese theater? I am digging up and verifying it.
