Located in Shibuya PARCO 6F CYBERSPACE SHIBUYA, "Pokemon Center Shibuya" is a new Pokemon space in harmony with technology, redesigning the concept from the existing Pokemon Center. At the stylish entrance based on black, you will be greeted by the legendary Pokemon Muuto. The life-size Muuto (2 meters) inside the cylinder is a soft texture that makes it feel as if you are really alive. By combining LED displays in the background, images, lighting, and audio, animatronics technology that moves and speaks, it creates an overwhelming presence that can be heard even if it is breathtaking. From the futuristic entrance, it's so exciting. On the wall of the passage leading from the entrance to the store, you can also see Muu-to and Miu's graffitiart drawn by graffiti artist Number-D. This is a shop that can be said to be a sacred place for Pokemon lovers Nansara. "When I come to Shibuya PARCO, I always stop by. They also sell a lot of goods, so it's very cute. You can feel happy just by being here."

Customize your own Pokemon T-shirt

"Pokemon Design Lab", where you can freely arrange your favorite Pokemon art and stamps, enter text, and create your own original T-shirt on the spot, is a content that you can experience only here at "Pokemon Center Shibuya". You can choose from more than 700 types of Pokemon art and stamps that can be used in the design (as of April 2024), and the original design that combines "likes" is truly infinite. In February this year, the new design of Pokemon that appears in "Pokemon Scarlet Zero Violet Treasure" also joined. A total of 13 Pokemon that can be met at Kita Cami no Sato and Blueberry Gakuen, which are the stage of Momowararou and other "Zero Treasures", have been newly added.
Mr. Minami also challenged the original T-shirt design. Use a large touchscreen to determine the color and size of the fabric, and choose from 4 types of designs. Minami chooses "Pokemon + Stamp" and places it on a T-shirt as you like. Out of countless Pokemon, she chose "Ikka Mouse" (4 Hikikazoku). The original T-shirt design is completed by decorating it with a stamp! After that, it takes about 60 to 90 minutes to finish the T-shirt.
"I'm very happy because I didn't know I could make a T-shirt here! From a wide variety of things, you can choose Pokemon that you really like. I tried to make a simple design based on the "Ikka Mouse (4 Hikikazoku)" which I thought was cute all the time. I'm very satisfied with the finish."

"Welcome to the world of Pokemon!" --The Pokemon series started in 1996 with the gameboy RPG "Pokemon Red Green". "My favorite Pokemon is 'Pamo'. It's an orange rat Pokemon. If you compare yourself to a Pokemon, "Namakero" I'm almost sleeping all day and seem to be lazy, so I'm envious (laughs). When I was young, I went to watch the theater version with my parents and played games. When going to rural areas for a long time, such as shooting dramas, I bring a Pokemon card game and play with my manager. If you touch Pokemon, you will be healed very much."

At the store, Minami found a large stuffed animal of "Pamot", an evolutionary form of his favorite Pokemon "Pamo". When you put it on your shoulders, you can enjoy the feeling as if you were hugged by a Pokemon, "Hug you! Stuffed Toy" series, involuntarily excited, "Cute!"

What I want to try in the future

At home, Mr. Minami is receiving healing from two dogs.
"I have a small dog (Chiwapo) for about two to three years, and a large dog (Border Cory) recently started to keep it. After a big child came, a little child became a better one. Every day, I sleep on a futon with a small child, but when I want to sleep and turn off the lights, even if I am far away, I came near the futon and dive in with the feeling of "Let's put in" (laughs). I'm going to sleep next to me. When I woke up in the morning, I was sleeping in my arm pillow, so it was really cute. Every time you see it, you will be happy. But for some reason these two are bad friends, and they feel like a battle every day (laughs)."

He is 21 years old. When I asked Minami, who has a cool impression and a calm atmosphere above age, "What do you want to try in the future?"
"I first tried a 50-meter bungee jump two years ago or last year. I was a little scared, but it was so fun. "I can do anything!" I thought it was (laughs). The next thing I'd like to fly is the bungee jump, which is said to be the highest in the world from 233 meters of the Macao Tower. I really want to fly.……It's a goal for living now."
