Sharrazima and Undercover Noise Label When I dare to cover my identity, I see my true self.

In 2023, Sharrazima was selected as "Forbes JAPAN 30 UNDER 30" (under the age of 30 changing the world). Her message, which does not rely on common sense and transmits new, borderless values that are not bound by nationality or race, resonates and empathizes with many people living today. She also visited the UNDERCOVER 2024 Spring - Summer Women's Collection in Paris last September, and shop cruised "UNDERCOVER NOISE LAB" on the 2nd floor of Shibuya PARCO. What is the charm of fashion that I saw when I dared to wear clothes wrapped in veil?

Clothing that flows like a faded memory.
UNDERCOVER 2024 Spring/Summer Collection

A runway where fog can stand. It is a beautiful and fragile world that is faintly visible and hidden in the dark – Undercover 2024 Spring – The theme of Summer Women’s Collection is “Deep Mist.” Shear material with clear skin as key essence, and transparent cloth like silk, organdy, and tulle is used for all clothes. By adding "mist" essence to clothes in various directions, such as hanging and wrapping, designer Shield Takahashi put out the design he made once and challenged the new possibilities of fashion to create something new.
Sharrazima, who actually participated in the collection in Paris in September last year. “UNDERCOVER is a brand that is very good at putting humor into the mode. In the spring and summer show, a lot of materials like chiffon are used. The most impressive thing was the veil that covered his face. “The transparent veil like Barak’s evolutionary system was really novel.”

First collaboration with Neo Laoho

The look worn by Shara is a spring and summer new work that uses paintings by German contemporary artist Neo Rauch, which designer Shield Takahashi has long respected. The theme of the collection "Deep Mist" resonated with his worldview, and the first collaboration was realized.
"In fact, at the show, it was an impression that various kinds of clothes were appearing. At first, I was attracted by the feeling that the atmosphere of the venue and the clothes match more and more every time the model walks along the runway, and finally when a dress with a butterfly illuminated by a light came out in the darkness, there was a sense of unity that all was unified. “Towards the final moment, all the shows were designed — I was impressed by the story,” Shara said.

Fashion breaks its own shell,
Things that change the representation quickly

“I don’t know how to wear fashion until I wear it. I'm a person who didn't understand the importance of representation in particular, but in the field of art, fashion is a genre that teaches the importance of it. Until I worked as a model, I decided that this color and shape would be good for me, but when I actually wore various clothes at work, I was often shaken by things that suit not only my age but also the seasons and the mood of the times, and when things changed. I realized that the image of myself that I was drawing was actually too hard. Now I feel that fashion may be the quickest way to break your shell and change your image. It always reminds me of the importance of representation.”

When I look at Shara's eyes and talk, I'm naturally drawn to the eyes of her transparent blue gradient. It is her identity that I saw by covering it with her favorite blue color that is different from the color of her original eyes.
"I don't know why I'm attracted to you, but I love blue. Last summer, when I fasted for three days, I felt a lot better. At that time, only the blue color began to jump into my eyes. I've read Ramo Nakajima's essay that "Blue Awakens" before, but I felt like blue was flying too. My favorite movie is Takeshi Kitano's "Sonatine", and my favorite art is James Turrell's work that I saw on Naoshima. Wondering what I like with intuition may be blue. During this time, I was able to see the aurora by chance on a plane from Japan to Paris. When I woke up while I looked out of the window, I saw a very beautiful aurora with green and blue light in front of me. From a parallel perspective, the aurora seen from the side was exceptional. When I told my friend about it, I was told, "I rarely see aurora on an airplane," and I had a very valuable experience. Is it instinct?…………For some reason, the color blue has been so intensely attracted to me and I feel like I'm always having a good match."

At European Fashion Week
For the first time, “Being a Foreigner”

Sharrazima was born in Japan in the 1990s, spent his childhood in Bangladesh, his parents' roots, and moved to Kita-ku, Tokyo from the age of 10 and grew up in a downtown area due to his parents' work. He taught me a new perspective on myself that I first learned in Europe during my stay in the collection.
“I’ve been based on both my roots in the country and Japan, but I’ve never experienced in the environment in which I’ve lived. However, when I started to go to overseas collections where my native language does not speak, I experienced the fun of becoming a foreigner for the first time. “Where did you come from?” When asked, “From Tokyo,” he said, “Oh? From Tokyo?' That's right (laughs). If anything, I seem to be blending in as a young man on the European side, "I'm from Tokyo. The natives are Japanese,” he said, “What do you mean? "Everybody was surprised, and no matter how many times I explain it, I can't understand it (laughs). I am surprised to be surprised by everyone.……。 I still don't know the fact that the city of Tokyo is full of diversity to foreigners. Actually, I realized that people living in Europe don't know that there are many people in Tokyo who have roots outside of South Asia and Japan like me in Tokyo. It was a very new experience.”
