Japan's first combine shop is born

"JW ANDERSON" opened its first combine shop in Japan on the 3rd floor of Shibuya PARCO in October this year. Designed by London-based 6a architects, the space combines the essence of two flagship stores in London and Milan. With carefully selected materials, craftsmanship, fitting rooms decorated with pink carpets and curtains, the spirit and nightlife culture of the first flagship store located in the Soho district of London, such as petrol blue and black checkerboard floors and neon signs, while taking inspiration from the spirit and nightlife culture of the first flagship store located in London's Soho district.
“I haven’t met designer Jonathan Anderson yet, and I’ve heard that his father was a rugby Ireland player. The cropped-length knit worn by Inagaki is laser-cut damaged on the hem, and the back is embroidered with an anchor, the logo of JW ANDERSON. The pants with a modest flared silhouette are fitted with slits, making the legs look very elegant and beautiful.
“JW ANDERSON feels like ‘normal’ in a good way, because the collection shows novel pieces like animal motifs and so on. The image of the clothes I wore today is a bit wild, but when I actually put it on, the line of the body looks very beautiful and it looks feminine and elegant. I was very excited to wear it, and it felt like it was part of a brand called JW ANDERSON."
Mr. Inagaki's handbag is JWA CORNER BAG, a new “Corner Series” featuring chain links representing the brand at the corner of the bag. The round trapezoidal silhouette and gold-toned metal fittings accentuate the statement.

Why Takako Inagaki does not stop the challenge

"I'm from Osaka, and my university went to an athletic school in Osaka. When I started working as a model from the fourth grade of college, I said, "Oh, it's fun! I feel like I want to make this perfect.” When you start researching the model, you end up with Paris Colle and then say, “If you want to model, aim for Paris Colle!” I decided to do it. I sent my resume to an international model office in Tokyo, but I couldn't get a reply.……Still, my feeling of "I want to express myself in mode overseas" did not change in me. First of all, I want to prove that I can do high fashion, so let's go abroad. It was Singapore that I met at that time. When I heard that the official language is English and that there is a good team in Singapore to make a book for the model, I said, 'Let's go to Singapore!' To. I was more active than I was now, and my body was moving as soon as I thought (laughs). "I decided to live in Singapore for a year and started working as a model in earnest."

Developed a model career in Singapore and devoted to bookmaking. In 2014, one year after immigration, Mr. Inagaki moved to Paris.
"For the first time in Paris, I was suddenly told before the production that I wanted to walk with a little girl. Of course, the girl was very nervous on the first runway (laughs). They made their debut together, saying, "It's okay," (laughs). That's why the first runway is very memorable.
Overseas, especially models that walk on runways are often tough. There were a lot of discriminatory things at the time. There were still few Asian models, so I was able to get out of order.……But he said, “I will never lose!” And I think I was able to do my best on the contrary. What supported me is that I like this job. The joy of doing the job I wanted to do is really great. Probably, I think the time when I was sad or sad was longer in total, but even more than that, the joy of doing something expands many times. And even if you can do the job you want to do, you will not be satisfied there. When you stand there, you will see a different view, and the next challenge you want to do will spring up naturally.”
