3LFTN apartment| The fusion of “Japanese painting Technique x Street Culture” and a new solo exhibition by up-and-coming artist Kohei Niino

An up-and-coming writer Kohei Niino holds a solo exhibition "Kohei Arano Solo" at "3LFTN apartment". His work to present “Japanese painting Technique x Street” uses raw materials such as glue, Japanese paper, and white powder as basic materials. Using these materials, which are traditional Japanese paintings from ancient times, we mix motifs that incorporate the influence of movies and street culture. In this exhibition, 10 to 15 works, mainly new works, including works that are conscious of the city of Shibuya, will be exhibited. I want you to actually feel the texture of Japanese paper and pigments.

Kohei Niino
Born in Tokyo. He is based in Tokyo and participates mainly in exhibitions. The theme is Japanese painting×Street, incorporating various pictorial elements, such as works inspired by street culture and movies, and life-size images rooted in everyday life, as well as screen compositions of margins and tagging (character) screens.
