AMBUSH® WORKSHOP 2｜ Hybrid design inspired by Shibuya culture in the 1990s

Creative Director YOON has been fascinated by a free and experimental mix culture in Tokyo. The "AMBUSH®" SS23 pre-collection imaged the Shibuya street scene in the 1990s, when the interrelationship between fashion and music was at its peak, and the key theme was "expansion of possibilities for mix and match". Among them, the vivid and nostalgic graphic bowling shirts are reminiscent of Shibuya at the time, which was the center of rave & house music, most of them are unisex styles, with a more relaxed silhouette, such as track jackets, wide pants, and oversized shirts. The footwear aimed at the light comfort that can be danced at night, has a solid, bulging mode design.

AMI PARIS｜ Inspired by multicultural Paris, blending sexy and retro mood

The theme of "AMI PARIS" SS23 collection is "Coeur Sacré" derived from a monument at the summit of Montmartre, France, where the show is held. Inspired by this location with the multicultural charm of Paris, LOOK is developed that combines a rich, sexy mood with a retro atmosphere of the 60s. A wide variety of colors, such as light pastel colors and pop primary colors, were incorporated into bold and retro prints such as stripes, gingham checks, total heart, and polka dots. The feminine clothes wrap the body with a relaxed form, and the unisex clothes are oversized and non-sharan, so the silhouette calculated by the design is also attractive.

A.P.C.| Malin wear and urban summer wardrobe loved by the French yachtman

The A.P.C. 23SS collection features Malin wear inspired by legendary French yachtman Eric Taberly. Reinterpret the characteristic elements of Malin wear, such as Nautical kolor, stripes and rope-shaped drawstrings, incorporating all colors of the sea into a light and functional item. We also propose an urban and formal summer wardrobe, incorporating tie-dyed dyeing and Cloche knitting with Brazil as an inspiration. I would like to pay attention to the design that colors summer, such as a large flower print dress reminiscent of Sao Paulo's magnificent botanical garden.

beautiful people｜ Pursue originality by connecting genres and eras

“Beautiful People” 23 Pre Spring is the theme of “ORIGINALITY”. By connecting things that have lost value due to changes in the times in a new form, we are pursuing originality unique to the brand. Several scarves of different tastes are superimposed, and the delicate expression born from them is printed on both sides with advanced technology, making it a unique textile. In addition, a unique lineup of genres and eras, such as a textile that combines the opposite pattern of ancient dinosaurs and the future universe, and a style that combines the modern neon kolor with a jacket symbolizing the "Teds" of the 50s, the starting point of punks.

ENFÖLD / någonstans｜ From feminine to casual mode, we propose real closes for adult women

"ENFÖLD" clothes, which emphasizes the elegant and loose silhouette and the comfort of being embraced gently wrapped in clothes, bring out the sophisticated feminine beauty. The standard design that will remain in the wardrobe for a long time should be a real close that expands the range of styling in spring and summer. On the other hand, "någonstans", which is based on the concept of clothes that make you want to go somewhere where everyday life and unreality intersect, offers a casual mode outfit with a playful color scheme and a loose silhouette.

Ground Y｜ Majestic graphics with the flowers that have been dropped into the darkton

The theme of the "Ground Y" 23SS collection is "Hundred Flower Ryoran", which means a wide variety of flowers bloom and a large number of people with excellent talent and appearance gather. By incorporating various flower patterns into the darkton and mixing them with the brand identity, it is sublimated into graphics that can not only be gorgeous but also majestic and powerful. In addition, we will develop highly-designed items that inherit the DNA of Yoji Yamamoto, such as mesh tops and pants with beautiful loose silhouettes. I want to imagine the blooming flowers and enjoy the styling of different patterns and patterns.

ISSEY MIYAKE SHIBUYA｜ A new form of pleats inspired by organic flowers and inorganic vases

The 23SS collection focuses on the conflicting relationship between organic and soft flowers and inorganic and hard vases under the theme of "Flowers and Vases", and expresses its delicate yet robust appearance. A new form is created by putting curves and straight folds into regular pleat fabrics, such as a coat featuring three-dimensionally overlapping sleeves inspired by the gentle form of the vases, and a blouson with a rounded silhouette reminiscent of a plant that flutters in the wind. I would like to pay attention to detail that vividly captures the appearance of organic plants, such as drawing the veins of plants with diagonally placed delicate pleats, imagining the flowers that are rolling down with an upside down snap button.
