SHIBUYA PARCO 3rd ANNIVERSARY｜ Wrap the 3rd anniversary with a sparkling sound: Opening Reception Report of Guests

Shibuya PARCO celebrated its 3rd anniversary on November 22, 2022. Starting on November 18th, a special event will be held for 17 days until December 4th, with a total of more than 60 artists and creators participating.

The third anniversary is a festival of sound.――

In the key visual, the sound spun by the frontman of "GEZAN", Mahito the Peapo, and the video by Akiko Nakayama, an artist who cuts out the fluid energy of color, collaborated. I colored the hall.

At the opening party on the first day, DJ events were held at various locations in the hotel, including collaboration between LOEWE and Night Tempo, and a total of six-hour program entitled "Night, Shibuya Night" was distributed from SUPER DOMMUNE and ComMunE.

Shibuya PARCO 3rd Anniversary “Night in Shibuya”

9F SUPER DOMMUNE/10F ComMunE delivers a total of six and a half hours program entitled "Night at Shibuya Night". In Chapter 1, "Pitecantrops Electus and Shibuya/Harajuku Club Culture"-Moichi Kuwahara and Nightclaving Culture B.C.C.", live streaming on the theme of "Pitecantrops Electos", which can be said to be the origin of Japanese club culture produced by Moichi Kuwahara. The history of club culture starting from Shibuya and Harajuku was unraveled based on valuable materials by luxurious members.

Chapter 2 “The Rise of Shibuya Club Culture, Present and Future vol1” through contact and VISION...In the edition of Taizo Murata and Global Hertz, we traced the cultural role of the floor and the trend of alternative culture together with the members who supported the site, from P.Picasso, which Taizo Murata worked on to "contact" and "vision" which closed last month. There is also a two-part talk part that talks about the dawn of Shibuya Club Culture, the rise, the present, and even the future.

In Chapter 3, "TYO GQOMMUNE Vol3" TYO GQOM x EYyo", TYO GQOM (KΣITO, mitokon, DJ MORO, K8, Hiro “BINGO” Watanabe) and special guest EYyo (BOREDOMS) connected the 2 floors of the 9th and 10th floors and participated in the Uganda music festival “Nyege Nyege Festival” from Japan. The legend has become a "night, Shibuya night" full of uplifting that will lead to the future.
