"LE LABO" is a slow puffumarie born in New York. The founders, Fa Bliss Penau and Eddie Roche, created a fragrance lab specializing in art, with the desire to create something unique and special. In 2006, we opened our first store in Norita, New York, and started with 10 different fragrance collections. The following year, in 2007, we opened a flagship shop in Daikanyama, Tokyo, which will be our first store outside of the United States. Shibuya PARCO, the center of Tokyo culture, opened in June this year, is the fourth directly managed store in Tokyo.

The memory of "a certain scent" that burns clearly in the brain

"When I was in elementary school, there was a girl with a good smell in my classmates. It smells so good that I can't understand anymore (laughs). He said, “Wow, good smell!” And when he didn't have that child, he knew, "Oh, I was there just a while ago."…。 Since then, I have awakened to the smell. I think the smell has great power.” Shin Hasegawa has a fragrance-sensitive "smell sense". After carefully tasting all kinds of fragrances in the shop, I picked up JASMIN 17 and found a scent that fits my current mood, saying, "This fragrance is a very nice scent." "Every fragrance at LE LABO is a fragrance that has never been scented before, and I feel the newness that my nose hasn't caught up. It was all very unique and new to me. This jasmine is also a jasmine, but the warmth and sweetness of Musk, Sandalwood and vanilla resonated with my heart.” LE LABO offers a "maid-to-order method" that allows you to personalize the date, message, and name (up to 23 characters in English) on the labels of fragrances and candles. Mr. Hasegawa also put the name “makoto hasegawa” in the bottle of JASMIN 17, creating one original bottle in the world.

Here at Shibuya PARCO store, there are plenty of candles, bath & body items that are perfect for holiday season gifts. Bath & body items are plant-derived and are easy to use for skin and earth. We recommend hand lotion and hand pomade (basil/hinoki) in this season when drying is concerned. Hinoki is inspired by the "hinoki" of a temple surrounded by forests at the foot of Mt. Koya-san in Japan, and has a mysterious and warm scent. In addition, basil has a green scent with citrus combining barbena. You can enjoy it genderlessly with comfortable texture that is not sticky. Mr. Hasegawa is burning incense and candles at home, and healing his body and mind if he worked hard for a day with his favorite scent. The candles of LE LABO, which use sole wax and pure cotton cores, burn slowly at low temperatures, and have a reputation for spreading its dense aroma in the space. “This candle smells the sea!　I think I'm on the beach. It smells really good,” the candle Mr. Hasegawa met was CALONE 17. The Malin Note, woven by a blend of geranium and amber, is like bringing the seaside scenery and breeze of San Baltemy Island in the Caribbean to the living room.

How to Enjoy the Fragrance of Shin Hasegawa

"I wanted to present the fragrance of LE LABO to (Kawamura) Ichima-san. My favorite smell is similar. I liked the incense I used at my house when Ichima came to play and bought the same one. All members of THE RAMPAGE like fragrances, and there is a custom to add their favorite scents in the sense of increasing their motivation and enthusiasm before the live performance. I wanted to add the JASMIN 17 I met today just before the show started. I'm a smell fetish, so I put a lot of perfume at home. I enjoy changing perfume depending on my mood and season. In summer, wear a refreshing scent like soap, and in winter, add a little deeper and heavy scent. I smell the perfume I used in summer and remember the summer.”
