2G(NANZUKA)| A solo exhibition of American artist Matthew Paradino. Released semi-dimensional works using 3DCG and 3D printing technology
American artist Matthew Paradino is holding a solo exhibition "9LivesAutoSaveCat" at "NANZUKA 2G". Paradino has been influenced by graphic images of manga and games. This time, we will also present a series of semi-dimensional works with vivid colors created with 3D printers based on robot-type cats. This work, which strongly impresses that it is a mass-produced form, seems to express the play between simple repetitive thinking and creative thinking. We want you to observe the changes in thinking that you feel as you cross the boundaries between analog and digital.
Matthew Palladino (Mathew Paradino)
Born in San Francisco, graduated from California College of Arts, and is currently active in Bolivia. He has held numerous exhibitions, including solo exhibitions "Ouroboros" (Parnassos Literary Society, Dio Horia Gallery, 2018), Group Show, "Punch" (Jefrey Deitch Gallery, Los Angels, 2019), and Paper/Plastic (AishoNanzuka, 2017). His work is also housed in The Whitney Museum of American Art (NY).

OIL by Bijutsu Techo | Hilo Sugiyama is curated. "NEO PAINTING TOKYO", a group exhibition that brings out new expressionism
At "OIL by Bijutsu Techo", a group exhibition "NEO PAINTING TOKYO" curated by artist Hilo Sugiyama will be held. In the 1980s, a new movement called "New Painting" occurred at the same time in the world. At the same time, the concept of Hetauma was born in Japan. In contrast to these movements, where PARCO at that time became one of the origins, this exhibition reveals a new expressionism in Tokyo, through Japan's unique Hetauma and new painting. The participating artists are Keiji Ito, Mariko Enomoto, SARUME, Yuta Nakajima, Goro Nagashima, Yukiko Yamasaki, and Hilo Sugiyama. Witness the dawn of an alternative art movement.
