P.O.N.D.｜ This year's theme is "IN DOUBT / Think about things that are not visible." 。 Kohei Kawatani, Masaomi Todoroki and others participated.
P.O.N.D., which is celebrating its third year, is based on this year's concept, "IN DOUBT/Thinking about things that are not visible." 。 The event aims to create a new interpretation by questioning what is right in front of you and removing extra filters - an appreciation experience that brings such a change to each person's eyes. A huge photographic work by photographer Kohei Kawatani appears in the common area on the 1st floor, and an object of "something like a person" by Mazaomi Todoroki appears at the entrance, creating an extraordinary space. GILLOCHINDOX is also inside the building. ☆Three-dimensional works using GILLOCHINDAE's clothes, portraits of Yukino Yamanaka, and works with faces knitted paper by Yuya Fukuzawa appear at Shindeki. On the first night of the exhibition, LIVE will be held at ComMunE+ROOFTOP PARK on the 10th floor. Four new act groups of different roots and genres gather. A band Gliiico, composed of Okinawan Z-generation pop singer Grace Aimi and three brothers from Vancouver. The lineup includes Sapporo's new wave / technopop band LAUSBUB, which is attracting attention on SNS, and JUMADIBA, which boasts unique sounds and rap skills. Julian Opie (Julian Opie)
Born in London in 1958. An artist representing contemporary art in England. On "Almost Sunday", a solo exhibition by photographer Shigeo Gocho, who died at the age of 36 in 1987, was held. Photographer. Born in Kamo City, Niigata Prefecture in 1946. I suffer from illness at the age of three. In 1965, he entered Kuwasawa Design Institute to study design and photography. In 1977, he published "SELF AND OTHERS" (Shayakan). Received the Japan Photography Association Award Newcomer Award in 1978. He passed away at his parents' home in Niigata in 1983. 36.
Wada Razu
Gag cartoonist. Born in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture in 1964. Debuted in September 1991 with "Ikinari Doda". In 2000, he won the national tournament of "Umeboshi seed skipping" and men's club championship. He has authored books such as "I can't forgive Wada Razu" (East Press) and "Wada Razu Firebird".

WHITE CINE QUINTO｜ Documentary "Makeup Artist: Kevin Oquein Story" released
In the 1990s, there was a makeup artist who revolutionized the mode makeup world. The name of the person who established "contouring" that makes the fashion of thin eyebrows and lip liners and creates a three-dimensional effect using light and shadow is Kevin Oquein. In "WHITE CINE QUINTO", a documentary film "Makeup Artist: Kevin Oquein Story" will be released in his turbulent life. The poster visual features "Look" by illustrator Harumi Yamaguchi. The woman in this work, drawn for PARCO advertising in the 1970s, seems to embody the diverse beauty of Kevin Oquein's image of women trying to create with makeup.
