“HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE” has released a 22AW collection under the theme of “A WORK OF ARC”. In this season, we studied structures made of cloth and frameworks like tents and applied them to clothes making, and we worked on new three-dimensional modeling that was created by drawing arcs on pleat fabrics. The shape of the clothes that cover the completed body by reviewing the way the fabric is folded and stitched together, and the direction of the pleat is applied, looks like a lively sculpture. The beautiful three-dimensional feeling of art and the light comfort of wearing make everyday life rich.

"JUNYA WATANABE MAN" 22AW collection collaborates with Jay Kay, a frontman of the world-renowned Jamiroquai. Resonating with his fashion and ideas inspired by the indigenous cultures of the world, he remixed it into the "JUNYA WATANABE MAN" style. The colorful coats and knits that attract the most attention in the collection are made of traditional fabrics used for national costumes in Mexico and the United States. The “MM6 Maison Margiela” 2022 “Avan Première” collection explores practical design codes through a destructive approach to military wear. The typical motifs, textures, and silhouettes were extracted and reinterpreted into a modern item. The rib knit, which is made by dismantling and connecting military knits, features an elbow patch from contrast. The tailoring jacket with fluorescent oranges on the lining and the coat with a cocoon silhouette reminiscent of the pilot Bonn Bar jacket.…。 At first glance, the skillful drop that seems to be impossible to understand can also be seen as the Maison's attitude toward pacifism.

The theme of "TOGA PULLA" 22AW collection is "Metal Mania Reverse Attack". Each part from head to toe incorporates the latest metal hardware into full equipment. In contrast to the hard impression, the combination of marble-shaped carvings and acid-colored flare pants has developed into a style where you can feel the "LOVE & PEACE" flower movement. On the other hand, "TOGA VIRILIS" mixes details and sporty items defined as feminine. A new piece of a peaceful graphic series in which humans, animals and plants join hands will also appear. This is my first collaboration with “Fruit of the Loom”. With the meaning of supporting Rainbow Flag, we incorporated a graphic that abstractly replaced fruit into a unisex item.
