A space full of inspiration

A glass-enclosed space on Shibuya PARCO 1F that appears when you climb the organ slope. The contemporary luxury brand "BYREDO" POP UP SHOP from Stockholm has opened. It stands out in a creative mood, and cannot help but stop by. The brand name is inspired by the words "by redolence" by playwright William Shakespeare, known for "Romeo and Juliet" and "Midsummer Night's Dream". It offers original fragrances, genderless cosmetics, and body care items, and attracts attention to BYPRODUCT, the first landing in Japan. A wide range of sophisticated items from leather goods to eyewear, blankets to baskets are on standby, and during the period, collaboration will be transmitted one after another, so I would like to visit the shop regularly.

Freedom spread from genderless

A collection created jointly by BYREDO Creative Director Ben Gorham and makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench appears. Colorful kolor sticks are 16 colors that you can enjoy freely regardless of skin color or gender. The bold color use that ignores marketing and reflects the sensibilities of both sides is attractive. "I often wear red lips during work, but personally I want to try dark colors. When it comes to makeup for women, my eyes stay with kolor and white eyeline accents that men don't usually wear," says Shunzu Ota.

Blanche, inspired by "a refreshing scent like soap," means "white" in French, characterized by the classic beauty and pure scent of white roses, peppers, and aldehyde blending middle notes and last notes with top notes. There is a story in BYREDO's perfume that links emotions and memories with fragrance, such as personal memories and imaginary worlds in the land where Ben Gorham was born and raised. Made from carefully selected high-quality ingredients, all produced in Sweden. It is a gem that sticks not only to the scent but also to the transparency of the glass.
