Mr. Koizumi has a deep connection with the pop culture called "Shibuya-style" that showed excitement in the 1990s. What is Shibuya like for her? “When I was 20, I often came to play. I'm busy, but I'm going to see the movie alone in the meantime. There were entrances to music, movies, theaters, books, fashion, art, and various cultures. In this city, even if young people stretched out, they couldn't laugh, and there was a feeling of accepting them. At Shibuya PARCO Gallery, I met Dennis Hopper and had fun memories. When I came to Shibuya PARCO, I was glad to see the record shop "WAVE" in Roppongi once entered. The shopper is also smart as it was at that time (laughs). We had a talk show almost every day, and at DOMMUNE, we also appeared on WeNeedCulture. Also, I feel like an interesting culture is born from the city of Shibuya, and recently I often talk to my friends. It would be fun to have a club where you can listen to music in the morning. Well, because we all get up early [laughs]. Adults who used to play in Shibuya in the past come back to this place to listen to music. Young people came to gather there, and exchanges were born. Isn’t it fun to think about that?”
