Born in 1973, PARCO THEATER is a pioneer in production performances. There are about 1,200 works created by theater staff and creators with their knees without an artistic director.
And the newly reborn PARCO THEATER evolved into a more creative theater while inheriting the genealogy of the past. The stage allows dynamic production depending on the depth and ceiling height. There are 636 seats.

The new PARCO THEATER opened on January 24 (Friday). Following the second repertoire of the former PARCO THEATER era, the PARCO THEATER Opening Series will begin.
In the opening series, a total of 14 works have been performed over a year, starting with "Pissarro" starring Ken Watanabe, which starts on March 13 (Friday). At the press conference held with Takashi Fujii, who is also on the stage of the opening series, 21 creators and actors from 14 works were on stage.

Pissarro, which was performed in the former PARCO THEATER in 1985, starring Tsutomu Yamazaki, was the first in the opening series following the mossing performance. The new starring is Ken Watanabe, who was also included in the cast during the performance in 1985.
This work is based on the conquest of the Inca Empire, in which the completed Spanish general Pisssarro captured the King of the Inca Empire with 167 soldiers, but Ken Watanabe at the time of 1985 performed enthusiastically at Atawarupa, the king of Inca. This time, Miyazawa Ice Fish, an up-and-coming with both delicateness and boldness, was selected for Atawalpa.
When Ken Watanabe says, "PARCO THEATER is an epoch theater in my actor's life," Miyazawa Ice Fish says, "I have pressure, but I want to enjoy it and challenge myself with my body." And with the gorgeous casts who solidify their sides, the masterpiece called the "legendary stage" is revived.

Presented by leading actors and directors in Japan, this lineup is worthy of PARCO THEATER's new history.
