We will hold an installation exhibition that traces the roots of Daisuke Obana, a designer of Japan's leading fashion brand "N.HOOLYWOOD", which will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year. In this exhibition, during the age of the vintage shop "go-getter", where Obana was involved in launching in his early 20s, photographs of used clothes purchased while visiting about 3,000 parts of the United States, and maps actually used were exhibited. A large number of photographs that were ordered by a teacher and continued to take every day with an instant camera without seeing the purpose and goal. GPS is a map that wrote the suppliers until midnight when car navigation systems did not exist. After more than 25 years, these photographs and maps have become valuable records of Obana's half-life, and are an installation that proves that it was a special experience. At the venue, in addition to pre-sale of the book "Record of Pain" (Park Publishing), in addition to limited official goods, this exhibition limited edition of "N.HOOLYWOOD" military collection line "N.HOOLYWOOD TEST PRODUCT EXCHANGE SERVICE" will also appear. In addition, a limited-time shop for "go-getter" will be opened in PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO, and vintage items collected by Obana will be specially sold.

PROFILE
Daisuke Obana (N.HOOLYWOOD designer)
Born in 1974 in Kanagawa Prefecture. He gained experience in a used clothing store since high school, and then served as a buyer and shop manager at a famous store in Harajuku. Opened "go-getter", a select shop for used clothes that was involved in launching in 1996. During the vintage boom, he selects used clothes with strong design from the 70s and 80s and creates a number of movements. I began to question the value of the used clothes world that "the old and the better the condition, the more valuable it is," and started remakes and original development in the store.
In 2000, the shop "Mister hollywood" opened in Harajuku to develop it in earnest. The following year, the brand "N.HOOLYWOOD" was established. After presenting his first collection at the club in 2002, he participated in the Tokyo Collection. From 2010, he moved his presentation to the NY collection.
In addition to working on the brand N.HOOLYWOOD, he has been active worldwide in a wide range of creations, including supervising uniforms, security, and workforce designs for the Torch Relay of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
